In the heart of the Périgord Noir region, the location of this gîte is the perfect starting point for your tourist visits: 5 minutes from the Castles of Castelnaud, Beynac and Marqueyssac, 10 minutes from the village of La Roque-gageac, Domme and 20 minutes from Sarlat. Also ideal for family holidays thanks to its proximity to outdoor activities such as cycle paths, canoeing, climbing, river swimming, tennis courts and hiking trails. Private saltwater swimming pool, 4.75mx2.45m, 1.40m deep, balneotherapy and counter-current swimming, open from early April to late September, secured by tarpaulin and alarm.
1.5 km from St Cybranet and 17 km from Sarlat (all shops), detached single-storey stone house set in 3000 m2 of unenclosed grounds with swimming pool. In this house (air-conditioned living room and dining room), you'll find a fully-equipped kitchen (fridge-freezer, dishwasher, microwave, oven) opening onto the living room with sofa and two armchairs, TV (WIFI) and dining room. The hallway leads to the 3 bedrooms: 2 with 1 x 160x200 bed in each and 1 with 2 x 90x190 beds. Bathroom with walk-in shower. Separate WC. Laundry room with washing machine and tumble dryer. A 25 m2 terrace with barbecue for summer evenings. A pétanque court adjoining the house. An awning adjoining the house allows you to park your car under cover. Heating and electricity included. Bathroom linen not provided. Options: bed linen rental and end-of-stay cleaning. Prices on request.

Le Carlat was a great base for a two week stay exploring the Dordogne. It was comfortable, quiet and well-equipped. Although rural, it is conveniently located for visiting Sarlat, Lascaux, Les Eyzies etc. We enjoyed hearing and watching the birds in the trees and garden but missed the wild boar visiting at night. The host was friendly, welcoming and helpful.

C'est notre deuxième séjour au gîte du Carlat et le plaisir fut à nouveau au RDV. Superbe maison bien équipée et confortable. C'est calme, c'est propre, c'est hyper bien situé pour naviguer dans les alentours. La piscine, toujours agréable après les visites. Gîte à conseiller absoluement (ou pas si l'on veut garder nos coins de paradis secret...) A bientôt j'espère.

Un très bon accueil, avec boissons fraîches et petites grignoteries locales.
Le gîte est parfait, très bien pensé, d'une propreté irréprochable et les appareils électroménagers fonctionnent parfaitement.
La piscine est un vrai plus, qui permet aux enfants de poursuivre la journée dans la joie et la bonne humeur, après les diverses visites et promenades.
