This historic site is nestled within a vast 30-hectare estate where sheep graze peacefully. The passionate owners will introduce you to their craft and the authenticity of their region. Just a few kilometers away, immerse yourself in local craftsmanship at the Moulin de Laroque in Couze-Saint-Front, where paper is still made by hand, or let yourself be charmed by the medieval bastide of Beaumont-du-Périgord, founded in 1272.
9 km from Lalinde (all shops and recreational activities), a 148 m² semi-detached house attached to the owners’ home and located near other Gîtes de France® rentals (ref. 24G303106 and 24G306106). Ground floor: Living room with kitchenette (65 m²) and Wifi Internet. Separate toilet.
First floor: 2 bedrooms: 2 single beds (90), 1 double bed (160); Second floor: 1 double bed (160) (+1 sofa bed). Bathroom with an 80-cm corner shower and a bathtub. Shower room with a 120-cm shower stall. Separate toilet. Air-source central heating. 30 ha of unfenced land. Terrace. Outdoor furniture. Sun loungers. Grill and plancha.

Monique et Jean-Marc Un gîte superbe
Un gîte superbe, très bien équipé, au cœur d'un domaine boisé de 30 hectares, dans un calme absolu, avec une vue splendide tant du séjour que des chambres. Tout fonctionne à merveille (électroménager, internet, télé,...). Les propriétaires sont accueillants et discrets, toujours là si on a besoin d'eux et prêts à vous renseigner sur l'histoire du domaine et de la région. Nous y avons passé un excellent séjour, d'autant plus que le temps était de la partie, et nous ne pouvons que le conseiller à tous points de vue.

Sabbi Un Noël en Dordogne
Excellent séjour dans ce gîte très confortable, au calme et avec une très belle vue. Très bien équipé et joliment décoré. L'accueil était chaleureux avec la préparation d'un sapin de Noël comme délicate attention en cette période de l'année. Merci pour ce séjour.

V Hyslop Beautiful and comfortable site
La Tour is a lovely and very comfortable gite in a lovely location in the Dordogne. We stayed as a family of 4 (two adults, two sons 14 and 11). The gite itself is very comfortable and is one of the best appointed gites we have ever been to. It was spotlessly clean on arrival and had everything we could want from oven, microwave and barbecue, to coffee machine, shower and bath options, and plenty of cutlery, cooking implements, crockery and glasses. We enjoyed breakfast outside every morning and watching the sunset from the loungers in the evenings. Very good wifi was very much appreciated by our sons.
Sylvie and Olivier were very welcoming and Sylvie took the time to explain how everything worked in the gite and where everything was, which was very helpful for settling in. Arriving quite late on a Saturday after a long drive, she was also able to give us essential information on the nearest petrol station, supermarket and opening hours.
We stayed during a significant heatwave (38-40 most days). The top bedroom does get very hot when the temperature goes above 36, but it is properly insulated and was very comfortable up to this point and manageable even when the temperature was hitting 40. The shutters are very good for managing heat.
The location is perfect for exploring the Perigord area of the Dordogne. Sarlat and Les Eyzies are about 1 hr away, Lascaux about 1.5 hrs. Bergerac and Chateau Montbazillac is only 30 mins away. Lalinde, the closest town, is very pretty and has a fantastic bakery (open every day except Wednesday) and butcher. It also has a decent sized Intermarche and a petrol station (at the supermarket, 24hrs). There are also options for canoeing, cycling and hiking in the local area, though given heat during our stay, we only tried canoeing. Lac de Pombonne in Bergerac is great for swimming in the summer.

Un gîte confortable, spacieux, bien équipé et joli, dans un cadre exceptionnel. De nombreuses balades à faire autour du domaine, aussi bien pour les petits marcheurs que les plus sportifs.
