La Pomponnaise

The gîte de la Pomponnaise is a 16th-century house with all the charm of Périgord stone. Located in the heart of Saint-Pompont, 27 km from Sarlat, you'll be ideally situated in the Dordogne Valley to visit a rich cultural heritage: caves (Lascaux, Padirac,...) , castles (Castelnaud, Beynac,...) , bastides (Domme, Monpazier...) or gardens (Marqueyssac, Eyrignac...).
A wide range of outdoor activities will enable you to relax and enjoy the Périgord countryside: cycling, mountain biking, canoeing on the Dordogne...

The gîte is accessed via a stone staircase. It has three levels: on the raised ground floor, you'll find a living/dining room opening onto a fully-equipped kitchen: dishwasher, oven, microwave. Upstairs, accessible by a staircase, a first bedroom under the roof will be a cosy little nest for two, with 1 bed 140x190, a washbasin, a small bath and 1 WC. The 2nd bedroom, in the basement of the gîte, has 2 80x200 beds that can be converted into 1 160x200 bed. Private shower and washbasin open onto the bedroom. Separate WC. A washing machine and tumble dryer are located in the corridor leading to the bedroom. A small 3 m² terrace with table and chairs is located at the entrance to the gîte. Public parking lot 50 m away.
