In the village stands the majestic Château de Jumilhac, nicknamed the “Black Pearl of the Périgord Vert.” The Galerie de l’Or traces the history of gold mining and offers family-friendly activities as well as introductory sessions on panning for gold along the banks of the Isle River.
Nature lovers will enjoy the hiking trails of the Périgord-Limousin Regional Nature Park, the rolling landscapes, the Gorges de l’Isle, and the nearby Terra Aventura adventure courses.
From the house, you can also set out to explore Saint-Yrieix-la-Perche, Brantôme, Nontron, or the many charming villages that give this unspoiled part of the Dordogne its unique charm.

This beautiful and spacious room features a 140-cm bed, a sofa, a TV, Internet access, a private Sauna, and a massage table. Massage services are available on-site for an additional fee.
A hearty breakfast is served in an ideal setting on the covered terrace. It includes homemade fruit juices, pastries, seasonal fruits, and fresh baked goods.
A shared 5 x 10 m piscine, with a depth ranging from 1.40 m to 1.80 m, treated with chlorine and secured by a cover, is open from June through September.
