Set off on an adventure and discover the Périgord from Paunat and its abbey church. Numerous activities are available within 30 minutes of the gîte. Just 3 km away, you'll find the village of Limeuil, one of France's most beautiful villages, at the confluence of the Dordogne and Vézère rivers. You can also visit prehistoric sites as you travel up the Vézère Valley to Montignac (Lascaux 4 International Center of Cave Art), passing through Les Eyzies de Tayac, the capital of prehistory. Then, in the Dordogne Valley, you can visit the châteaux of Beynac, Castelnaud, Les Milandes..., the villages of La Roque Gageac, Domme... and natural sites as far as Sarlat, a medieval city with an exceptional heritage. What a great vacation program!
