In the heart of a 140-hectare private forest estate, the Holiday cottage de la Guirandole invites you to immerse yourself in an exceptional natural setting. Hikers, fishermen, hunters and lovers of wide-open spaces will all find what they're looking for among the woods, meadows and private ponds. This meticulously restored period residence combines the character of yesteryear with modern comforts. Enjoy a variety of activities on site: walking, fishing (3 private ponds on site with carp, pike, tench, roach...), hunting, mushroom picking or photography.
Nearby vineyards (Bergerac, St Emilion, Cognac), Dordogne châteaux, medieval villages, the magnificent scenery of our valleys, gastronomy and a visit to Lascaux 4, as well as a host of activities offered by the Isle Valley tourist office, make for a unique experience!
The Holiday cottage is ideally located in Périgord, bordering 3 other départements: Gironde, Charente and Charente-Maritime. You are 1h from Périgueux, 45min from Bergerac, 25 min from St Emilion, 1h from Bordeaux.
Detached house set in private grounds. First floor: Living room, open-plan kitchen (washing machine, dishwasher, oven), DVD player, wifi, TV. 1 bedroom: 1 x 160cm bed. Bathroom with walk-in shower. Separate WC. Upstairs: 2 bedrooms: 4 beds 90. Beds made on arrival if you rent bed linen. Bathroom with shower cubicle and WC. Electric heating and wood stove. Garden, ping-pong table, pétanque balls. Rental of 2 bikes: €25/week/bike.

Nous recherchions le calme et le dépaysement,nous avons trouvé les deux.
Merci pour votre accueil sympathique et vos très bons conseils (mention spéciale pour la Petite Duche,restaurant à 2km du gîte).
Le gite est magnifique et très bien équipé.
Le domaine est une oasis de calme et les rencontres avec la faune (chevreuils,lièvres...)y sont pratiquement quotidiennes.
Quels que soient les centres d'intérêt (culture,sport,gastronomie...)on est sûr de trouver son bonheur dans les 50km aux alentours.
Nous avons passé d'excellentes vacances et n'hésiterons pas à recommander votre gîte.- Cleanliness

Corentin Super séjour !
Nous avons passé un super séjour du jeudi au dimanche.
Nous avions réserver ce gîtes avant tout pour la tranquillité et la pêche.
Nous avons était servi ! Debutant dans la pêche nous avons eu nos premier brochets et black Bass dans ces super étangs.
Le calme était au rdv !
En plus de ça nous avons super bien dormi dans une superbe literie
Et l’accueil de Patrick a était super !

It was amazing!! We felt very comfortable. Everything was present for a good and happy stay in this region! Calm, quiet, beautiful nature. The estate is very extensive and breathtakingly beautiful. Wonderful to walk for many hours in this beautiful nature.

A really lovely gite in a beautiful location. A number of delightful walks from the gite, or a short drive. Bordeaux & Bergerac less than an hour's drive from the gite. Patrick a wonderful host, with some good words of advice. The area is very tranquil and we plan to return.
