La Grotte

Out of sight, in the heart of Périgord Noir and close to shops.

House in the heart of the village of Daglan (all shops 100 m away) but quiet and out of sight to preserve your privacy. Thick walls keep you cool in the warmer months and cosy in winter. The natural colors of ochre and beige give this "Grotte" its name. The former barn has been converted into a covered terrace, perfect for summer evenings.
This gîte is located in the Périgord Noir, in the Céou Valley, a tributary of the Dordogne (fishing at 500 m).
Places to visit: the Dordogne Valley and its tourist sites (Bastide de Domme, Castelnaud and Beynac castles, Les Milandes (former home of Josephine Baker), Marqueyssac gardens, La Roque Gageac village...). Gabarre or hot-air balloon trips and Sarlat, a medieval city with an exceptional heritage (Cathédrale St Sacerdoce, Le Manoir de Gisson....), 20 km away. Ideally located for a trip to Rocamadour and Padirac in the Lot.

You'll enter on the same level as the living room, which comprises a fully-equipped kitchen, a sitting room with fireplace and TV, and an open-plan dining room. There are 2 bedrooms, each with 1 double bed (140cm), and a shower room with WC. Electric heating.
