This house is located in the dynamic town of Le Bugue in Périgord Noir. You're in the Vezère Valley, home to no fewer than 15 prehistoric sites... The village is home to the grotte de Bara-Bahau, a Palaeolithic cave.
Fill your shopping basket on Tuesdays at the traditional market, renowned for more than 8 centuries, or at the night markets (in summer), a festive invitation to meet local farmers, breeders and craftsmen.
There's no shortage of sporting activities, with 73 hikes and canoe bases, as well as leisure activities such as the Parc du Bournat, the Aquarium du Périgord Noir, the Prehistoric Labyrinth, Jungle Golf...
Detached house equipped with fiber optics, with a plot of over 3000m² naturally enclosed by a thuya hedge and fenced areas. A large 10m² entrance hall leads to a first bedroom with 2 90cm beds; a large living room with corner sofa, TV, fireplace, table soccer, and leads to the large veranda with dining area. An independent, fully-equipped kitchen. A bedroom with a 140cm bed. Separate shower room with WC. A bathroom with WC. A bedroom with a 140cm bed. Upstairs, a bedroom with 2 90cm beds and air-conditioning. Outside, enjoy the large garden with a private 11x5m, 1.20 to 2.50m-deep chlorine pool. Heated from May 15 to October 15, the pool is secured by a roller shutter and alarm. Pool towels are provided. The partially sheltered terrace features garden furniture, a lounge area, deckchairs, a plancha, an outdoor shower and a ping-pong table. The Holiday cottage has a wallbox for electric recharging.

Nous avons passé une semaine agréable ,le cadre est parfait pour visiter cette belle région, le Gite est placé à la sortie de la commune, au calme ,beaucoup de place intérieur et extérieur et piscine chauffée(super pour les enfants), je remercie Fabienne pour sa gentillesse.

mtsuper Wonderful gîte
This superb, fully-equipped and homely gîte is the perfect holiday home for families or large groups. The bedrooms are very comfortable, the lounge is spacious and cosy, and the kitchen is well-equipped. The pool is particularly impressive – large and newly refurbished.
Fabienne, the delightful and conscientious owner, was on hand every day to answer any questions or provide advice we had about the area. It’s clear she takes great care of her property, regularly attending to the swimming pool to clean and check it.
We would love to return to this gîte one day. Thank you for making our stay so enjoyable.

Stayed here for a week in July/August 2025 with my husband, my sister, brother-in-law and 11 year old nephew.
The owner was waiting for us when we arrived and had been in touch beforehand to check everything was ok. We were very pleased with the property - it is spacious and comfortable.
The kitchen had everything we needed and the grounds were wonderful. We spent most of our time there in the pool or out on the terrace. The 2 bathrooms were clean and bright. The bedrooms were good sized and the beds were comfortable.
There was plenty of room for parking our cars out front. The table football and table tennis were well used. The garden is really big and a lovely space to relax or play a game.
Le Bugue has an Intermarche Hypermarket as well as other smaller supermarkets and a few little shops, bars and restaurants. It's a couple of mins in the car to the centre of town and the river.
In the local area we canoed down the river, went to the prehistorique mirror maze, the rope climbing, and mini golf. We also went to the caves which are just up the road from the property. We had an absolutely marvellous time.- Cleanliness

Meziani Extraordinaire
Le premier point fort de ce gîte , c'est sa propriétaire, gentille et disponible.
Après ce bel accueil, vous serez surpris par la taille de la maison, et de ses extérieurs. Vous y trouverez tout le nécessaire pour un séjour agréable. La piscine est grande, et parfaitement entretenue.
C'est un véritable havre de paix , sans pour autant vous isoler. En effet, la maison se situe à proximité des sites importants de la vallée de la Vézère et de toutes les commodités. C'est un avantage considérable avec des enfants. Nous avons ainsi pu profiter des nombreuses activités le matin et profiter de la piscine le reste de la journée.
Il s'agit, sans aucun doute, de notre meilleure location sur Gîtes de France. Je la recommande vivement à tous ceux qui souhaitent découvrir la Dordogne en famille. Des souvenirs impérissables en perspective!- Cleanliness

J'ai fais connaissance d'une super famille que je recommande vivement à tous les hotes. Très respectueux, ils ont pris soin de notre maison, de notre piscine , du jardin ,des fleurs et bien plus. Toujours souriants et de bonne humeur je les remercie vivement.Une magnifique rencontre comme on en voudrait beaucoup.
