Just outside the center of Lisle, this former barn—completely converted into a vacation home—welcomes you with its spacious and bright interior. You’ll appreciate the generous proportions, enhanced by an impressive cathedral ceiling in the living area. You’ll also enjoy the immediate proximity to the village’s shops, with a bakery, a grocery store, a Pharmacy, and restaurants all within walking distance. In the summer, head just 300 meters to the beach along the banks of the Dronne River, where swimming is supervised from mid-July to mid-August.
From the holiday cottage, set out to explore Brantôme, the “Venice of the Périgord,” its abbey and boat tours, the Château de Bourdeilles, the historic city of Périgueux and its Saint-Front Cathedral, and the Abbey of Chancelade. Outdoor enthusiasts will enjoy hiking or biking along the Dronne Valley, canoe trips, and the many farmers’ markets that bring the area’s villages to life.
