Beautifully restored stone village house at the gateway to the Bastide of Monpazier, with breathtaking views over the Dropt Valley and surrounding hills. Considered a "model bastide", Monpazier is the jewel of the Périgord bastides. Founded in 1284 by Edward 1st of England, the town has retained its original character. Monpazier is a village of arts and crafts. Château de Biron is 8 km away and Cadouin Abbey 15 km. Signposted footpaths are available nearby.

50 m from Monpazier (all amenities), 120 m2 house adjoining unoccupied buildings. First floor: Living room with kitchenette and sitting area with Wifi internet connection. Shower room with WC. First floor: 3 bedrooms: 3 x 140cm beds. En-suite bathroom. Separate WC. Oil-fired central heating. Garage. Utility room. Enclosed grounds of 400 m2 with terrace, garden furniture, sun loungers, barbecue and ping-pong table. Unenclosed plot of 500 m2. Parking on private land belonging to the owner, 20 m from the entrance to the gîte; guests can unload their luggage at the gîte and then park in this shady spot. The street visible on the photo with the Gîtes de France sign is a dead-end street. Electricity included. Bathroom linen 5 €/person/change. Sheets 15 €/bed/change. End of stay cleaning 70 €. Heating 12€/day.

Gîte agréable ,propre et frais ( fraîcheur très appréciable par cette canicule.).
Tout est prévu en quantité en vaisselle,batterie de cuisine...Jardin ,au calme, avec tables,parasols et chaises.
Les propriétaires sont très accueillants et à l'écoute des locataires.

Un séjour très agréable, le gîte est confortable et bien équipé, monpazier a des commerces essentiels et on peut rayonner pour visiter.le gîte a l' entrée de cette très belle bastide donne sur la campagne c'est très reposant.

Kathryn Wonderful gite in a fabulous location
A charming and very comfortable house with a pretty, private garden in the historic bastide town of Monpazier. Very quiet with gorgeous rural views from the bedrooms. What a delight to stroll the medieval streets everyday and in the evenings as well. Exploring other nearby bastide towns was also fantastic. Highly recommend!

Traduction : Une maison charmante et très confortable avec un joli jardin privé dans la bastide historique de Monpazier. Très calme, avec de magnifiques vues sur la campagne depuis les chambres. Quel plaisir de flâner dans les rues médiévales, tous les jours et le soir. La découverte des autres bastides voisines a également été fantastique. Je recommande vivement !

This is the 6th time we have stayed in this Gite. Great location, large house, quiet cul de sac and 2 minutes from the town center. No need to take the car for shopping or going out at night. Lovely owners!!

Bien aidé par une météo très agréable ,beaucoup de site à visiter.
UN bémol sur l'équipement du gite bien que précisé dans le descriptif , absence de

Je vous remercie pour votre avis et suis content de voir que vous avez pu profiter de votre séjour. Notre région regorge en effet de belles choses à visiter. Je suis en revanche étonné de constater que vous n'avez pas trouvé le lave-linge et le congélateur situés dans le garage attenant à la maison (cela est bien indiqué dans le descriptif du gite mais avec un simple appel ou SMS, j'aurai pu vous le repréciser). Le frigo dispose quant à lui, d'une partie freezer.
