This beautiful house surrounded by meadows and vineyards is close to all the major sites: Les Eyzies de Tayac (capital of prehistory), the Lascaux 4 International Center of Cave Art in Montignac, Sarlat (medieval city with an exceptional heritage), La Roque-Gageac (village classified as one of France's most beautiful villages), Château des Milandes, home of Josephine Baker, Jardin de l'Imaginaire in Terrasson, Château and gardens in Hautefort... You'll be seduced by its veranda and its calm, set amid 50ha of vines, meadows and woods currently farmed by the owner. Also on the estate, 250 m below the Holiday cottage, you'll find 2 ponds where you can go no-kill fishing without a license. Kids will love coming into contact with the farm's animals: sheep, horses and poultry. Older children can visit the vineyards and winery, and taste the estate's wine.
On the first floor, you'll find a living-dining room with TV and leather sofa, a fully-equipped kitchen and a separate toilet. Upstairs, you'll find a 1st bedroom with 1 bed 140x190, a 2nd bedroom with 1 bed 160x200 cm, a 3rd bedroom with 2 beds 90x190 and a bathroom with shower. A lovely open veranda with plancha overlooks the private, unheated swimming pool (chlorine, 3.5m x 7m, 1.5m-1.80m deep, alarmed, staircase access), open all year round, where you can relax on deckchairs without overlooking the garden. A 200 m2 fully enclosed garden is at your disposal. For horse-riding enthusiasts, you can keep your own horses on site with the owner's agreement. Baby equipment: bed, chair, potty, reducer, bathtub. End-of-stay cleaning 120€. Sheets and towels included.

Monika & Steffen Erholsamer und sehr schöner Urlaub
Wir haben drei wundervolle Wochen in diesem Ferienhaus verbracht und uns rundum wohlgefühlt. Das Haus gehört zu einem Bauernhof, und Thierry, der Eigentümer, war jederzeit unglaublich herzlich und hilfsbereit – wir haben uns von Anfang an willkommen gefühlt.
Das Ferienhaus selbst ist sehr gut ausgestattet, äußerst sauber und bietet alles, was man für einen entspannten Aufenthalt braucht. Besonders schön war der Kontakt zu den Tieren – Pferde, Esel und Schafe. Unser Hund, eine fast 14-jährige Malinois-Dame, hat sich bestens mit Ulysse, dem großartigen „Hund des Hauses“ mit beeindruckendem Sozialverhalten, verstanden. Der Pool ist ein echtes Highlight: sauber, großzügig und perfekt, um sich an warmen Tagen abzukühlen – wir haben ihn ausgiebig genutzt.
Die Lage des Hauses ist ruhig und idyllisch. Zum Einkaufen fährt man etwa 10–15 Minuten, was für uns kein Problem war. Die Umgebung bietet eine große Vielfalt an Ausflugsmöglichkeiten. Innerhalb einer Stunde erreicht man zahlreiche Sehenswürdigkeiten: charmante Städte und Dörfer, Burgen, troglodytische Bauten, steinzeitliche Artefakte, beeindruckende Höhlen mit jahrtausendealten Malereien und wunderschöne Landschaften.
Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder und können das Ferienhaus uneingeschränkt empfehlen!

VACANCES TRES BON SEJOUR
Très bon accueil du propriétaire qui sait faire partagé sa passion de son exploitation.
Lieu calme et reposant, tout ce que nous voulions.
Nous reviendrons profiter de la piscine car malheureusement le temps n'était pas propice pour un plongeon .

Merci pour votre retour. Très heureux que vous ayez apprécié votre séjour au Palin. Dommage que la météo ne vous ait pas permis de profiter des extérieurs du gîte et des lieux magiques du site. Je vous y accueillerais à nouveau avec grand plaisir.

Thierry, notre hôte se démène pour que tout soit parfait à notre arrivée et ça l'est ! Son accueil était très chaleureux avec Ulysse son chien. Le gîte était spacieux, la literie impeccable. Tout le nécessaire pour cuisiner. Le paysage est magnifique, avec les brebis, la jument et l'âne. Nous nous sommes tout de suite sentis très bien. L'espace véranda est vraiment agréable.
