Ideally situated at the crossroads of the Dordogne and Vézère valleys and the confluence of these two great rivers, this Holiday cottage is nestled in a valley on the cingle of Limeuil. Away from the main roads and quiet, yet close to all amenities and places of interest, this house offers serenity and rest for the more contemplative, and a wide range of outdoor activities for the more dynamic and motivated: Piscine, archery (for beginners and experts alike), pétanque, volleyball, badminton, table tennis (rackets and balls provided)... on the 4-hectare estate. You'll also discover the owner's vegetable garden and self-sufficiency projects.
From the property's courtyard, you'll enter the first floor of this Holiday cottage via a living room (TV, wifi, pellet stove) with a large bay window opening onto the private terrace (garden furniture, barbecue). The kitchen is equipped with dishwasher, washing machine, microwave and 4 ceramic hobs. Separate WC. Upstairs: 1 bedroom with 1 x 160x200 bed, private bathroom with shower and WC (1 x 90cm extra bed). Baby equipment: Umbrella bed, mattress and high chair.
On arrival, take a refreshing dip in the unheated Piscine, shared with the owners and another Gîtes de France® 24G1072, size 12mx6m, depth 1.10m to 1.50m, chlorine-containing, fenced, open from early May to late September. On-site parking 50m away for 3 cars.

Bonjour, nous vous remercions pour votre avis. Concernant votre remarque, vous avez été accueillis comme tous les locataires : nous vous avons fait visiter les lieux, expliqué les consignes, et donné un état des lieux et fait régler la caution à l'entrée (contractuel). Nous n'avons pas eu l'occasion d'échanger car vos journées étaient bien occupées par vos randonnées moto. De notre côté, vos horaires ne correspondaient pas à nos disponibilités (avant 8h ou après 21h) Nous sommes désolés que vous ayez eu ce ressenti.

Richard A lovely place to stay
The gite is a well furnished, modern and comfortable barn conversion. Everything works. I found that Nadine and David were sensible, friendly and helpful- excellent hosts. The other advantage of this gite is that its location is near many attractions of the Dordogne.
Things to note. The windows face into the courtyard. The property has two large ensuite bedrooms capable of accommodation for six people and this let is advertised for up to two people, so, potentially one might wind up sharing with another family, particularly in high season? I don't know but it would be worth clarification.- Cleanliness

Hello Richard, thank you for your feedback. We are very happy to see that your stay went well and that you enjoyed the cottage. Regarding your doubt about the rental method, the cottage is open to two people in low and mid-season, but is rented to 4 to 6 people in high season. There is no sharing of the rental with another family. We close the second bedroom when the cottage is rented for 2 people. The rental is, of course, exclusive. We had left the second bedroom open so that you could see the cottage as a whole in case you wish to return with friends or family.

Bonjour Richard, merci pour votre retour. Nous sommes très heureux de constater que votre séjour s'est bien déroulé et que le gîte vous a plu. En ce qui concerne votre doute sur la méthode de location, le gîte est ouvert à deux personnes en basse et moyenne saison, mais est loué en haute saison pour 4 à 6 personnes. Il n'y a pas de partage de location avec une autre famille. Nous fermons la deuxième chambre lorsque le gîte est loué pour 2 personnes. La location est bien entendu exclusive. Nous avions laissé la deuxième chambre ouverte pour que vous puissiez voir le gîte dans son ensemble au cas où vous souhaiteriez revenir avec des amis ou de la famille.
