Just 10 km from Sarlat, this beautiful property is located along the D704, in the commune of Carsac-Aillac, in the heart of the Dordogne Valley, much appreciated by visitors to the region for its ideal location close to some of the most beautiful sites in Périgord. The Sarlat/Souillac greenway is just 100 m from the property.
First and foremost, you'll receive a warm and attentive welcome from Bruno, who will be delighted to advise you on the region he loves so much.
There's no shortage of things to do in the surrounding area, so get ready to explore the 1001 châteaux (Beynac, Castelnaud, Les Milandes...), the prehistoric sites of the Vézère Valley (Les Eyzies de Tayac, Montignac-Lascaux....), villages (La Roque Gageac, Domme...) and remarkable gardens (Marqueyssac, Eyrignac, Les Jardins d'eau de Carsac...), not forgetting the pleasures of local gastronomy.
The rooms are located on an estate of preserved, authentic architecture. Its charming, diversified garden will delight you.
You will have access to 3 rooms with Wifi :
The Parme room has a 140x190 bed, a shower room with WC (no TV).
The Blue room has a 160x200 bed, a shower room with WC (no TV).
The Rose room has a 160x200 bed, a shower room separated by a curtain with 1 basin, shower cubicle and WC (hairdryer).
Beautiful, unheated, chlorine pool, secured by a fence, to be shared with the owners and the Holiday cottage (Dimensions 11mx5m, depth 1.10m to 1.95m, open from May to the end of September).
Breakfast is served in the kitchen/dining room located in the owners' main house, upstairs (20 steps).
Baby bed and high chair.
On-property parking for 3 cars.

Bruno et Christine ont enfin vu se concrétiser leur projet avec l'achat de ce domaine ; il y a quelques années, après un séjour en chambres d'hôtes, ils sont tombés sous le charme des paysages de la Dordogne. Gaspard (leur chat) et ses acolytes seront là aussi pour vous accueillir et vous faire passer un excellent séjour.

La Dordogne regorge de possibilités de visite comme vous avez pu vous en rendre compte... et mérite donc qu'on puisse l'apprécier à nouveau ! Qu'on se le dise... Merci à vous pour cette semaine d'échanges.

3/5Het domein is heel mooi, netjes, mooie tuin en groot zwembad.
Wat hebben we gemist? Een parasol bij het zwembad, een mogelijkheid om zelf wat koffie of thee te maken.
De beschikbare koelkast is een plus.
De gastvrouw heeft zich op geen enkel moment aan ons voorgesteld of ons aangesproken. Wat een vreemde indruk maakte.
De gastheer daarentegen was heel vriendelijk.

We zijn blij dat u ons terrein en de directe nabijheid van de fietsroute heeft kunnen waarderen. U geeft aan dat u een parasol bij het zwembad heeft gemist, dat zich naast een park van 2000 m2 bevindt waar u had kunnen ontspannen, en dat er geen mogelijkheid was om koffie of thee te maken... Alle voorzieningen staan vermeld op de beschrijvingsfiche die u kunt lezen voordat u de huur opstelt. U heeft me hier echter op geen enkel moment over gesproken. Evenmin over het tijdstip van aankomst dat ik u een week van tevoren per e-mail heb gespecificeerd en dat blijkbaar geen probleem leek te zijn! Om een behoefte te vervullen, moet je deze uitspreken, dat is de basis van communicatie. Wat betreft mijn vrouw, die erg bezig is met haar werk, heeft eerlijk gezegd verzuimd u goed te groeten en zich voor te stellen: ze is verward en biedt haar excuses aan... En zoals niemand profeet is in zijn eigen land, kwam mevrouw bij haar vertrek ook niet bij me zeggen vaarwel! We wensen u veel succes met uw Franse reis.

Bel endroit et accueillant
4/5Un très bon accueil des propriétaires qui ont su nous conseillés sur les visites le temps de notre week-end. La chambre est très propre et malgré la chaleur elle est restée fraiche. Bon petit déjeuner également. C'est un joli endroit où rester quelques jours à proximité de Sarlat.
La Wifi par contre est capricieuse dans la chambre mais comme nous étions là pour visiter, cela avait au final peu d'importance.- Cleanliness 5/5
