Situated 6 km from the medieval city of Sarlat-la-Canéda and 10 km from the Dordogne Valley, it's an excellent base for exploring the châteaux of Beynac, Castelnaud or Les Milandes, visiting France's most beautiful villages such as La Roque-Gageac, Domme or Limeuil, or enjoying gabare, canoe or hot-air balloon trips. The gardens of Eyrignac and Marqueyssac are also well worth a visit. 20 km away, the Vézère Valley invites you to explore ornate caves, rock shelters and troglodytic sites, such as the famous Lascaux cave.
