In the heart of the Dordogne Valley, idleness and relaxation will be the order of the day with the swimming pool, shared with another gîte for 4 people, size 6.45mx3.70m, depth 1.45m, flat-bottomed, secured by an electric curtain, unheated and open from May to October. You'll have your feet in the water, overlooking the verdant valley.
Just a few kilometers from Sarlat, you'll appreciate the many architectural treasures of our heritage and the must-see sites of the Périgord Noir. You can visit the Lascaux 4 International Center of Parietal Art at Montignac in the Vézère Valley, the castles of the Dordogne Valley, Rocamadour in the Lot and the Padirac chasm, or opt for outdoor activities such as hiking, horse-riding, mountain biking or canoeing (hiking departures from the gîte and river 1 km away). Available: 4 adult bicycles (mountain bikes or city bikes).
Former tobacco drying shed restored with respect for heritage conservation, single-storey house adjoining another gîte, equipped with reversible air-conditioning. You'll enjoy a fully-equipped kitchen with oven, microwave, dishwasher, washing machine, 4 induction hobs, combined freezer and a living room with TV and internet access. You will have access to a bedroom with 1 bed 140x190 as well as a shower room with Italian shower and independent WC but in the shower room. Garden furniture, plancha in front of the gîte on the covered terrace. Unenclosed grounds of 1000 m2 open onto the property.
We have 2 friendly dogs on site, and you can watch the sheep.
Baby equipment: cot, high chair, bathtub, changing mat, bouncer, potty.
Linen, electricity and heating included. Sheets 14€/bed/change. Bathroom linen 5 €/person/change. End-of-stay cleaning 40 €.

5/5Nous avons été très bien accueillis par nos hôtes dans un gîte très bien équipé. Notamment d’une climatisation très utile avec les fortes températures.
Le gîte est situé dans un écrin de forêt. Avec de nombreux chemins de randonnée. Nous avons adoré !

Fantastic Property and Location
5/5Great Location and property, great owners who are clearly very proud of the property as it provides everything you need for a great holiday. Lovely pool that reached 26'c, great outside seating areas with beautiful views. Inside the property you have a fully equiped kitchen with washing machine and dishwasher, comfortable bed and large shower. Location in the Dordogne enables you to visit many of the local markets on a daily basis, we very much liked Martel and Domme. River is closeby and there is easy access for to the canoes for the more adventurous. Would certainly consider rebooking.

Charme et tranquillité
4/5Enchantés de notre séjour dans ce gîte aménagé avec beaucoup de goût et de soins.
Idéalement situé pour les visites et activités , nous avons aussi beaucoup apprécié la piscine et le prêt de vélos.Nous recommandons vivement cette adresse où les propriétaires se montrent attentionnés et chaleureux.

deep peace and tranquility
5/5Although a bit remote the location offered great tranquility for a very restful week.
The small pool was lovely to dip into to cool off and the views were superb. Many interesting places were within a short drive and we visited some truly magnificent gardens. Air conditioning in the gite was a god-send during this very hot week.- Cleanliness 5/5
