Holiday cottage Cournet Bas is located just outside the charming village of Saint-Pompont, close to the shops. This detached house has an enclosed garden, garage and private fishing pond. The house features exposed stonework, beams and fireplaces, creating a warm, authentic atmosphere. Directly at the start of Hiking and mountain biking trails, it offers easy access to the Dordogne valley's Remarkable sites: Castelnaud, Beynac, La Roque-Gageac, Domme, the Marqueyssac gardens, Sarlat and the surrounding bastides.
Detached house with raised first floor comprising a living area with fully-equipped kitchenette (4 gas rings, dishwasher, oven, microwave, filter coffee maker, fridge with freezer compartment...), dining area and lounge area with 2 sofas, TV, DVD player, wifi Internet connection. A first bedroom with a 140x190 bed. Bathroom with shower, washbasin and WC. A 2nd bedroom with 2 beds 90x190 and a 3rd bedroom with a bed 140x190. Separate WC. Electric heating. In front of the Holiday cottage: a terrace under a pergola with garden furniture and charcoal barbecue. Enclosed garden of approx. 600m2, swing, garage and cellar with washing machine.

Super gîte très calme avec un grand terrain clos pour notre chien très bien équipé avec un beau petit village à 500m ( café, boulangerie, supérette, pharmacie boucherie) nous avons passer un superbe séjour dans une belle région

Elmer Excellent location - spacious house and garden
Lovely restored house, garden perfectly safe for our two dogs.
Well equipped but everything a bit ‘tired’. Bedding and towels have seen better days. The lighting in the main room was our biggest issue. There’s a huge dark blocked off fireplace with no lighting in that corner, even a few spotlights would help brighten it up - very little natural light.
Beautiful little village Saint Pompon 5 minutes walk away with bars, restaurant, supermarket and butcher. Great location for walking and cycling- Cleanliness

Christian Agréable séjour à St Pompon
Tout d’abord notez que St Pompon s’orthographie sans ”t”, nous avons pu constater que les habitants y sont tres attachés. La commune est agréable et entretenue, la municipalité semble efficace. Les grandes surfaces sont bien éloignées mais les commerces nécessaires y sont presents. St Pompon est au cœur des sites remarquables du Périgord Noir. Le gîte est équipé très correctement, indépendant et entièrement clos, idéal donc avec un animal. Agréable séjour. Nous pourrions y revenir et inviter des proches à y séjourner.
