Built in 1900 in the peaceful, rural setting of a small hamlet in the Périgord Noir, this restored house features an apartment with a view of the Château de Beynac, located 3 km from the Dordogne River and its world-famous tourist attractions. You’ll be able to create many wonderful memories by visiting the castles (Beynac, Castelnaud, Les Milandes, etc.), Sarlat, a medieval town with an exceptional cultural heritage, by canoeing or taking a gabarre boat ride to explore the Dordogne Valley, or simply by enjoying nature on one of the many hiking trails...

3 km from Beynac (shops) and 15 km from Sarlat, a 60 m² apartment in the owner’s home with a private entrance and no neighbors directly across the way. Set on an unfenced 2,000 m² lot with garden furniture, sun loungers, and a barbecue. A 7x3.50m saltwater pool with a depth of 1m35, located in the owner’s garden for the tenant’s exclusive use. This pool is open from late April to late September and is secured by a fence and gate.
From the ground floor, you’ll enter a foyer with a staircase of 16 steps. The upper floor consists of a kitchenette and a small living area with a TV and Wi-Fi. One bedroom with a Bed 90x190 and a 140x190 bed. A second bedroom with a 160x200 bed. A small bathroom. A separate toilet. A washing machine is available outside, along with a clothesline. On-site parking. Fans available on site. Electric heating is included. Bedding set for a 140 or 160 bed (€17) and bedding set for a 90 bed (€13). The set includes sheets, as well as large and small towels. End-of-stay cleaning: €70. Baby equipment: baby bed, high chair, baby bathtub, playpen.

    Logement typique, super emplacement

    Merci à Christel et André pour leur chaleureux accueil. Ils ont toujours eu le soucis que nous soyons bien installé et qu il ne nous manque rien. André nous conseille des bonnes visites et bonnes adresses.
    La piscine est très bien entretenue et a fait la joie des plus petits et des plus grands!
    Rue calme, pas de nuisance.

    Charmante Unterkunft, absolut ruhig, mit schöner Aussicht und eigenem neuem Schwimmingpool
    Wander- und Montainbike geeignet Wege direkt vor dem Haus. Alle Sehenswürdigkeiten gut erreichbar.

    Disappointing

    We had high hopes for this because the photos are lovely. The exterior is very pretty but the interior was darker and less appealing than the photos conveyed. Small yet thoughtful conveniences, like toilet paper, hand soap and a towel in the bathroom, and beds that are already made up instead of expecting a guest tired from travel to do so, just are not optional these days. We booked 5 days and knew within 2 hours that we were not going to be content to remain. There were also a lot of bugs, mostly beetles, in the bedrooms and kitchen. I even found two on my bed. (We immediately booked another place and were greeted there with the service we have come to expect when traveling, thankfully.) The owner here seemed startled that we were not happy. But if you can't even supply a handful of filters for a coffee machine, that is you choosing to save a couple of euros over providing the minimum for guest comfort. Sorry, but I would never return to this place or recommend it. Pity, because the village itself looked wonderful when we drove through it.

    MesdamesJe suis navré d'avoir oublié les filtres à café et que vous ayez été incommodées par quelques insectes lors de votre séjour. Nous fournissons les draps à la demande mais ne faisons pas les lits. Nous comprenons que l'appartement ne vous ait pas convenu du fait que vous aviez plusieurs chiens et qu'il y avait plusieurs marches à monter, et nous en sommes désolés. Notre maison est un gite authentique qui comme vous le soulignez, se trouve dans un très joli village. Bien cordialement,
