A beautiful farmhouse in a quiet hamlet of a few houses in the Auvézère Valley, close to Périgord Blanc and Périgord Noir.
You can visit the Château de Hautefort and its magnificent gardens (15 min), the Musée d'histoire de la Médecine d'Hautefort, the Tourtoirac cave (5 min), the town of Périgueux and its Gallo-Roman remains (30 min) or explore the Vézère Valley (Montignac-Lascaux 30 min away).
A number of trails are accessible on site, including one that takes you right down to the river. For a refreshing swim, the Rouffiac nautical base is 25 km away, with plenty of activities for all the family.
The nearby Auvézère gorges also offer great walks, swimming and canoeing.
Raised first floor, with entrance to the veranda, which has a washing machine and dryer. Then entrance to the dining area with kitchen (microwave, oven, combi-freezer, dishwasher, etc.). There's also a lounge, TV, pool table and access to the terrace-balcony. Bathroom with shower cubicle. Separate WC. You'll have access to 2 bedrooms on the ground floor, one of which is a family room with 1 140x190cm bed with Bunk beds, the other with 1 160x200cm bed. Upstairs, the last bedroom has 1 160cm bed and 1 baby bed. Private heated Piscine (3.6x7m, 1.50m deep, secured by a tarpaulin) open from May to late September. This house has plenty to offer, with its 1600 m2 fully-enclosed outdoor park, pétanque court, table tennis, table soccer, cool walnut trees, adult and Kids bikes available, a brazier, a covered area for the dog in the wood store. Parking on site.

Flo Séjour familial
Bonjour, nous avons passé un excellent séjour dans ce gîte : la piscine, le billard, les tournois de pétanque avec les enfants. Nous avons apprécié le calme, les soirées barbecues. les chambres sont grandes et confortables, la cuisine est spacieuse et bien équipée. Nous reviendrons avec plaisir en Dordogne dans ce gîte.

Le lieu est formidable. Il a gardé son authenticité tout en ayant le confort moderne.
Les extérieurs sont très bien aménagés : piscine, filet de volley, piste de pétanque, hamac, divers endroits de détente...
Les chambres sont de belle taille et aménagées avec goût.
Seuls bémols : les extérieurs n'ont pas pu être utilisés le soir à cause des moustiques.
Il serait souhaitable de bénéficier de ventilateur dans chaque chambre et d'avoir des moustiquaires pour aérer la maison la nuit.

Maison et jardin très agréable.
Bien équipé, chacun a pu profiter d’être ensemble en famille, tout en ayant chacun son intimité car les chambres sont particulièrement confortable.

Maison familiale authentique redécorée avec beaucoup de goût. On s'y sent très bien, le cadre est reposant et la piscine très appréciable. Tout est fait pour que l'on y passe un séjour agréable, proche de belles visites (grotte, château) avec la possiblilité de balades à pieds ou à vélo depuis le gîte. Les rangements sont nombreux, la vaisselle en belle quantité pour de grands repas en famille et la cuisine pratique, rien ne manque.
