This gîte is located in a typical hamlet, partly covered with slate roofs, which 300 years ago was the summer residence of the bishops of Sarlat. The hamlet consists of 5 houses. You'll love the choice of activities on offer in this region, including visits to châteaux (Château de Beynac, Château de Castelnaud, Château des Milandes...), walks in the heart of the villages, 10 of which are classified as "the most beautiful villages in France" (La Roque Gageac, Castelnaud, Limeuil...), gabarre and canoe trips on the Dordogne, garden visits (Eyrignac, Marqueyssac...), a visit to the Bastide of Domme, signposted hiking trails.
