In Plaisance, in the heart of the rolling Périgord countryside, this 2-person Holiday cottage adjoining the owner's house is the ideal getaway for two. Recently renovated, it offers access to a shared Piscine, perfect for relaxing after a day of exploring.
Nearby, discover Issigeac, a charming medieval bastide, stroll through the farmers' markets, or visit the vineyards of Monbazillac. Bergerac, just 20 minutes away, will seduce you with its authentic charm: cobbled streets, half-timbered houses, craft stores and lively quaysides on the banks of the Dordogne. Heritage enthusiasts will love the Bridoire and Lanquais castles, while the Dropt river will appeal to fishing and canoeing enthusiasts. A holiday rich in discoveries awaits you.
You enter this Holiday cottage on one level via the fully-equipped kitchen (4 ceramic hobs, dishwasher, top fridge...) and dining area. There's a separate living room with 2 2-seater sofas, TV and WIFI. A bathroom with shower and washbasin. Separate WC. And a bedroom with a 180x200 bed that can be converted into 2 90x200 beds. In front of the Holiday cottage is a terrace with garden furniture, parasol and gas barbecue. You'll share with the owners a 4000m2 garden with fruit trees, a henhouse, and a shared above-ground chlorine swimming pool, 6m5 in diameter, 1m2 deep, alarmed and open from June to September. The swimming pool has a terrace accessible via a staircase.

Le gîte est tout neuf, confortable.
Il reste à aménager les extérieurs mais ça n'est pas un problème.

Helene Super Gite, bien situé pour explorer
Un gîte super dans un endroit tranquille et beau. Très près de Bergerac, Montbazillac, Castillonnes, Issigeac et plusieurs autres beaux villages. Idéal pour explorer la région. Nous avons adoré la soirée gourmande à Castillonnes.
L'hébergement est nouveau, propre et spacieux pour une famille de 5 personnes. Une cuisine toute équipée, salle de bain et WC propre. Le lit dans la chambre principale est super confortable et nous avons très bien dormi!
Margaret et Iain sont des hôtes par excellence. Toujours prêt à vous aider à arranger une aventure. Ils sont des très bons chefs et nous vous conseillons d'essayer leur cuisine.
Nos enfants ont beaucoup aimé la piscine et ont passé la plupart de temps à jour au water polo. Ils ont aimé aussi les poules et ses œufs !

Sabine Highly recommended to explore the Dordogne
The gîte is perfectly located to explore the town of Bergerac and all the pretty villages we wanted to see like eymet, Issigeac, Monbazillac and Villeréal. We appreciated a warm welcome from the hosts and finding all we needed in the gîte included fresh water in the fridge, a well stocked kitchen and the bed linens for no extra charge. The gîte was clean, spacious and confortable even during an episode of heatwave. The bed was super comfy. The surroundings are so quiet and we loved the garden and patio area and the possibility to access the pool as much as we wanted! We highly recommend.
