La Tiny House - Le Grand Châtelier

Come and recharge your batteries in unspoilt natural surroundings, a haven of peace in the heart of the Pays Mellois, 45 minutes from the Marais Poitevin.

Come and relax in the Tiny House du Grand Châtelier, bordered by the river "La Béronne". Gaëlle and Nicolas, the owners, are committed to welcoming you in a truly ecological way. Great importance has been given to the choice of construction of this Tiny House, in keeping with respect for the environment: the wood is rigorously selected, coming from sustainably managed forests and certified FSC and PEFC by a company specializing in the design and construction of self-sufficient timber-frame houses with a negative carbon footprint.
You'll enjoy a terrace area and garden furniture with a direct view of the river!
The Tiny has an 8.75m² living area with a kitchenette (microwave, sink, Senseo coffee maker, 2 induction hobs, fridge, 3* preserver) and a dining area with a table and 4 seats. 2 sleeping areas: Bedroom 1 (5.45m², 2 twin beds 80x190), Bedroom 2 (3.03 m², 2 Bunk beds 80x200). 1.65m² bathroom with toilet, washbasin and shower (80x80 cm).
Beds made up, Bathroom linen supplied. Electric heating and utilities included. Twinned with the Holiday cottage Le Grand Chatelier (n°323) in the immediate vicinity (20 meters), with a total capacity of 12 people.
Le Zome" wellness area with massage by Gaëlle, energy specialist (massage: €60 for 1 hour).
Rental of a 136m² room for receptions, seminars and training courses, equipped with hifi and kitchenette, and a magnificent 160m² vaulted cellar, an atypical venue for events (ask the owners for details).
Departure point for walks from the Holiday cottage, part of which is classified Natura 2000. Melle 9mn (large Friday Market, Romanesque churches, Rois Francs Silver Mine, jazz festivals in July), Niort 25mn (Museums, Donjon, TGV station, ...), Marais Poitevin 45mn (boat trips, Hiking....) Futuroscope 1h, Puy du Fou 1h30mn.
