In the heart of the Mellois region, enjoy the tranquility of the countryside in a 19th-century stone house restored in 2011, located in a hamlet 2 km from the village. You’ll enjoy the southeast-facing terrace (25 m²—outdoor furniture, barbecue, 4 sun loungers), with a view of the valley, and the enclosed garden (500 m²—garden shed). Play set with 3 pieces of equipment. Ground Floor: large living area with a fully equipped kitchen (64 m²—fireplace with a closed hearth, TV, DVD player, stereo), laundry room, restroom. Upstairs: Bedroom 1 (17 m²—1 double bed, 1 Baby bed), Bedroom 2 (11 m²—1 double bed), Bedroom 3 (12 m²—2 single beds), bathroom with shower and two sinks, separate toilet. Wifi Internet access via the holiday cottage’s router. Electric heating and fireplace with a closed hearth. Baby bed, high chair, baby bathtub, safety gates. A €60 cleaning deposit is required upon arrival. This is a non-smoking holiday cottage (smoking is permitted outdoors). The owners live nearby. If you enjoy hiking or biking: numerous hiking trails start from the holiday cottage and the surrounding area (7 listed wash houses in the town), Lake Lambon 5 km away: mountain biking center, canoeing and kayaking, tree-top adventure course, fishing, and games. Celles-sur-Belle, 8 km away, a charming small town: Royal Abbey, Piscine. Cinq-Coux Quarry, 3 km away: geological trail and climbing wall. Melle, 15 km away: Romanesque architecture, swimming pools, market, festivals. Niort, 20 km away: market, museum, Golf. Marais Poitevin, 30 km: boat rentals, marked trails, bike rentals. Futuroscope and La Rochelle 1 hour away, Puy du Fou 1 hour and 30 minutes away. Rate is all inclusive during high season. Other periods: 10 kWh of electricity per day, water and gas included. If the electricity allowance is exceeded, a surcharge will apply based on consumption and current rates. In winter, 1 free supply of firewood; additional charges apply based on consumption.
