If you like walking or cycling, there are numerous Hiking trails starting from the gîte and the surrounding area (7 wash-houses are listed in the commune), and the Lake du Lambon (5km), where you can go mountain-biking, canoeing and kayaking, accrobranche (tree climbing), fishing and games. Celles sur Belle 8km, small town of character: Royal Abbey, Piscine. Carrière de Cinq-Coux 3km: geological trail and climbing wall. Melle 15km: Romanesque art, Piscine, Market, festivals. Niort 20km: Market, Museums, Golf. Marais Poitevin 30 km: rowboat rentals, marked trails, bike rentals. Futuroscope and La Rochelle 1h, Puy du Fou 1h30. All-inclusive price in high season.
