Set in unspoilt, green surroundings, on a large property 2km from the village, between Niort and Parthenay, this old stone house has been fully restored. This unoverlooked gîte boasts a 16m² terrace with pergola, an 800m² enclosed lawn garden, 2 hammocks and a covered area with barbecue. Boules pitch nearby. You can enjoy the owners' play pool (30m²-1.20m deep, tunnel shelter) available from June to September. Large terrace with sun loungers. 2 boxes and meadows can accommodate your own horses (10E/day/horse, hay provided). On the first floor, a pleasant, bright living room of 24m² comprising fitted kitchen-living room-lounge (wifi internet access), bedroom 1 (17m²-1 bed 140), en-suite shower room (wc). A staircase with Japanese steps leads to a 2nd bedroom (16m²-1 bed 140) and a shower room (wc) upstairs. Cot, high chair. Restored with quality materials, lime and hemp rendering, contemporary furnishings. Heating by heat pump, not included in rates. Boules pitch on site. Hiking trails from the gîte, Golf du Petit Chêne 2km (18 holes), Plan d'eau de Verruyes 2.5km (swimming, beach, games and fishing), Parthenay 18km (market, medieval town, games festival in July, jazz, Romanesque art), Niort 28km (Donjon, Halles, museums), Marais Poitevin 1/2h (boat trips, bike rental, marked trails), Futuroscope 1h, La Rochelle and Puy du Fou 1h15.

    comme chez soi

    Nous avons rencontré un couple accueillant, à notre écoute. Nous pourrions même dire des personnes dévouées.

    Nous sommes arrivés dans un gîte très propre, lumineux avec un confort inestimable : le silence et cela n'a pas de prix.

    D'ailleurs, nous le recommandons pour des personnes qui ont des petites difficultés de déplacement car le rez-de-chaussée est très bien adapté.

    Un détail pour certains mais mon époux qui a d'importants problèmes de dos a pour la première fois trouvé une literie adaptée qui lui a permis de dormir dans un confort optimal.

    Jacqueline est une merveilleuse personne qui fait tout son possible pour rendre votre séjour agréable, qui vous parle de sa région avec un savoir unique et vous raconte des anecdotes qu'on ne peut oublier.

    Pierre est affable aussi , un peu plus en retrait mais quand vous commencez à le connaître est une vraie "crème".

    Jacqueline nous n'oublions pas ton très bon clafoutis, Pierre, la dégustation du cidre, du pommeau.

    Nous allons arrêter, car nous n'avons pas assez de mots pour les définir.

    Un petit plus sur le gîte peut accueillir une famille puisqu'il y a un étage avec tout le confort, une terrasse abritée, un endroit de stationnement abrité pour un véhicule .

    Jacqueline et Pierre, vous restez gravé dans notre coeur, nous avons un attachement particulier pour vous deux.
