La Maison de Margot

On the edge of the charming village of Xaintray, the Logis de la Mélissière is a little corner of paradise where you can recharge your batteries and relax, far from the stress and hustle and bustle of everyday life. La Maison de Margot is the former bread oven in the enclosed courtyard of the Logis. It has been fully restored in keeping with regional traditions (local stone), ensuring peace and quiet for the whole family. A large garden gives Kids plenty of room to play. The secure swimming pool (10mX5m, depth 1.20 to 1.80m) offers all the joys of swimming. It is shared with Logis de la Mélissière guests and is accessible at any time of day.

First floor: large attic lounge (36m²-possibility of sleeping arrangements: 1 bed 90x200 and 2 convertible sofas), bedroom 2 (14.5m²-1 bed 160x200, private shower room), separate wc. The Pays de Gâtine and the nearby Marais Poitevin offer a wide range of tourist, cultural and leisure activities. On site, you'll find numerous hiking trails, mountain bike circuits and Hiking trails. La Maison de Margot is ideally situated between Puy du Fou and Futuroscope (one-hour drive). Its proximity to the Marais Poitevin will enable you to discover a site unique in Europe. Nearby, the Abbeys of the southern Vendée and many other tourist sites will fill your days (La Rochelle, the Beaches of Vendée, etc.) We have a wide range of tourist documents to help you prepare your days. The Holiday cottage cannot accommodate more than the number of people mentioned at the time of booking, nor can it exceed its capacity. The Piscine is only accessible to guests of the Holiday cottage and Bed and breakfast. Under no circumstances may visitors who are not part of the rental group swim in the Piscine.
