In the heart of the Marais Poitevin, on the banks of the river, come and recharge your batteries in a comfortable holiday cottage in a typical marsh village. The tastefully restored stone semi-detached house, on the village's semi-pedestrian street, is accessed via 270m² of shared grounds, leading directly down to the river. A rowing boat is available free of charge, complete with oars and life jackets. South-facing terrace (24m²) overlooking the marsh. First floor: living room (33m²) with fully-equipped kitchen, living room and lounge (wood-burning stove, refrigerator with small 4* freezer). 1st floor: 2-person bedroom (14m²-1 bed 140, baby bed), shower room, wc. 2nd floor: large bedroom (32m²-1 bed 140, 2 beds 90). Dedicated fiber-optic box. Heating (extra charge): electric radiators and wood-burning stove on first floor. Free parking at the end of the street, 300m away. Cleaning deposit of 60€ to be handed in on arrival, please. Marais Poitevin on site (starting point for signposted hiking and cycling trails, jetty with guide 50m away), "La Maison du Cheval" equestrian center 400m away. Piscine, tennis, crêperies 300m away. La Rochelle 45mn, Ile de Ré 1h, Futuroscope 1h, Puy du Fou and Vendée beaches 1h20.

Lieu du gîte parfait, magique. Barque à disposition dans une des plus belles parties du marais. Propriétaire accueillante et réactive en cas de soucis. Le séjour fut super agréable.

Charmant village au cœur du marais, le gîte très agréable et le petit plus une barque à notre disposition pour decouvrir à notre gré les marais.

Aurélien Séjour agréable au bord de l'eau
Nous avons passé un agréable séjour dans ce gîte bien équipé, propre, confortable et très bien situé dans le jolie village-rue de LA GARETTE. La mise à disposition de la barque (très bien équipée: sièges confortables, pagaies et gilets de sauvetage pour petits et grands) est un plus pour découvrir en toute liberté le marais Poitevin et profiter de ce havre de paix. Contact agréable et arrangeant de la propriété. Je recommande ce logement sans hésitation.
