Former mill with independent gîte and owners' house, each with its own terrace by the river (La Voueize). 2 km from the village.

First floor: attractive living room with lounge (80cm TV) offering direct access to the terrace and kitchen area (dishwasher, table-top oven, fridge with freezer compartment). First floor: CH1 (1 double bed 140*190), CH2 (2 single beds 90*190), bathroom with shower cubicle, separate toilet. Wifi internet access. Baby equipment on request. Central heating with heat pump and pellet stove. At rear of Holiday cottage: adjoining plot overlooking La Voueize river, private terrace (aluminium garden furniture, charcoal barbecue). In front of Holiday cottage: gravelled courtyard. On-site parking. The Holiday cottage is housed in an old mill which also includes the owners' house.

    Séjour très agréable

    Très bon accueil des propriétaires attentifs à notre confort.
    Le Gîte en bord de Voueyze et de la forêt est très reposant. Un plus : de l'intérieur du gîte, au levée du jour, on se surprend à voisiner avec un colvert ou avec un petit échassier, pattes et bec dans le ruisseau.
    Bon accueil également par les commerçants et restaurateur de Gouzon, Chénérailles, et Aubusson.
    Le séjour est passé trop vite à notre goût. Nous en conservons un très bon souvenir et souhaitons y revenir.

    Gouzon

    Sehr gastfreundliches und sympathisches Vermieter-Ehepaar. Die Unterkunft ist schön gelegen, sehr geräumig und gut ausgestattet. Einkaufsmöglichkeiten und interessante Ausflugsziele sind mit dem Auto schnell zu erreichen.

    Gouzon stay

    The house is oke on a nice spot. The garden at the front is not nice. Full of weed.

    The furniture and all are out dated but usuable. The bed upstairs, the matrass is very thin. And the bed is small. For large people not really nice.

    In the house your rooms are connected with closed doors to the owners, who lives next door. It makes a bit noisy. The owners self are very quiet.

    The other neighbour uses a heatpump. It makes noise for the whole day and night. Always running. Because of this there is no silence. Really not nice.

    The shower is very well. Kitchen really needs an update.

    To be honest, we are not coming back again. If the house will be update en the noise of the neigbour is gone, then maybe it is worth to return.

    Séjour agréable dans un gite confortable. Excellent accueil des propriétaires qui sont à votre écoute.
    Village au calme, très bien situé pour rayonner.
