Our holiday cottage, “La Vieille Maison,” is located in Creuse, in the heart of the Limousin region and on the edge of the Chabrières Forest (800 hectares). La Vieille Maison is a renovated, comfortable former country farmhouse; It is a standalone holiday cottage, close to the owners’ home and 2 km from the village of Savennes. The road ends just a few steps from the cottage and continues along forest trails. You’ll immediately be charmed by the welcoming and unspoiled natural surroundings. There are numerous hiking trails starting from the holiday cottage; one of them will take you to the Wolf Park. You can enjoy the many activities offered by the Monts de Guéret Sports Nature resort. All shops and services are available in Guéret. Make the most of your stay to explore the Creuse Valley and Crozant, the Chabrières Forest, the Scénovision in Bénévent l’Abbaye, the village of Masgot with its carved stones, the International Tapestry Center in Aubusson, and Lake Vassivière.

First floor: Bedroom 2 (1 bed, 140×190), Bedroom 3 (2 beds, 90×200), bathroom with toilet, study/library (1 sofa bed providing an extra sleeping space, bookshelf) connected by a staircase to a mezzanine in the attic, closed off by a curtain: ideal room for Kids (2 beds measuring 90×190). Electric heating. Terrace, private unfenced yard of 300 m² (kids’ playground equipment, patio furniture), parking. Bed linen provided. Bathroom linen available for rent. Cleaning fee included.
