A change of scenery and comfort guaranteed, right on your doorstep in this village built by Creuse masons, less than 350 km south of Paris, 350 km from Lyon and 315 km from Bordeaux, a jewel box of greenery, culture and art de vivre, right in the middle of France. Family vacations, cousinhoods, tribal reunions in the center of France, in the Limousin region, on the Boucheteau estate in the communes of GLENIC and GRAND-GUERET, just 5 minutes from the N145. Georges and Liliane welcome you to the old family farm (10 ha) dating back to 1877, in 2 independent stone houses, GITES de France 4 épis, entirely restored with noble materials: - a typical Creusoise house with awning : Le grand Chêne (sleeps 11) - a family suite "Les Hirondelles" with bathroom and hammam (5 people). Meals can be taken together in Le Grand Chêne, with a large table, folding tables and benches. Possibility of group rental with the Naïades gîte (23G1204) (10 pers), i.e. 25 people on the same estate.

Rest and tranquility for the whole family at the Gîte du Grand Chêne in the quiet hamlet of Le Boucheteau, 5 minutes from the N145 motorway. Come and discover the authentic Creuse region, with its Romanesque churches, medieval castles, Aubusson tapestry and the valley of the Impressionist painters from Glénic to Crozant. Many attractions for children: the wolf park, the giant labyrinth, accrobranche in Guéret and Pierres Jaumâtres near Boussac, canoeing in Glénic, fishing in the Creuse. On site: trampoline, marked hiking trails, 50m² geothermally-heated swimming pool from May to October, Bienvenue à la ferme gardens (garden vegetable baskets available), ping-pong table and pétanque under the hangar, crayfish fishing in the Mazeaux stream and small rabbits.

The Boucheteau gîtes comprise 2 gîtes:
- Le Grand chêne (11 people):
Ground floor: fully-equipped kitchen with dining area, living room with sitting area and possibility of adding a large table for taking meals together and open fireplace, 1 WC, laundry room.
1st floor: 1 bathroom, 1 separate WC, 1 dormitory with 2 bunk beds (90 and 140), 4 bedrooms: bedroom 1 with shower room and WC (double bed 160), bedroom 2 (2 beds 90) bedroom 3 (2 beds 90), bedroom 4 (1 double bed 160 and 1 child's bed).
- Les Hirondelles (sleeps 4):
- on the mezzanine: bedroom with antique 18th-century bridge bed (160cm bed and child's bed), bathroom with bathtub, steam bath and shower, separate toilet.
- Ground floor: Living room with exposed stonework: 2 antique canopy beds (115 and 110), armchair sofa, granite fireplace with insert, shower room (washing machine) and WC. Fully equipped kitchen
