Holiday cottage by the Lake in the heart of the Millevaches plateau and close to the Auvergne volcanoes

Sornac is an ideal starting point for a wide range of Hiking and biking trails through the magnificent panoramas of the Plateau de Millevaches, its forests, peat bogs and lakes.
A relaxing setting with a leisure park (Beach, city-stadium, ping-pong, Kids' games, numerous activities throughout the summer). Fishing at Lake des Chaux starts in April and lasts until the end of October.
Close to the village with its many shops.
Close to the Auvergne volcanoes, the Dordogne gorges, the Cité internationale de la tapisserie in Aubusson, Lake Vassivière and the Château de Val in Bort-les-Orgues.

Communal Holiday cottage with separate entrance, set in an old farmhouse renovated into 5 Holiday cottages, on the edge of a Lake with large, unenclosed communal landscaped grounds, adjoining Holiday cottage no. 4, with which it can communicate to form a larger Holiday cottage. This gîte comprises a fully-equipped kitchen (electric oven and hob, microwave, 2 coffee makers: filter and Senseo pods, fridge, washing machine), a small mezzanine lounge with sofa bed (stairs not recommended for people with mobility difficulties or young children), a ground-floor bedroom with a double bed (140cm), a shower room with WC, electric heating.
WIFI and connected TV. A cleaning kit with eco-responsible products will be provided.
Outside with garden furniture (table, wooden benches) and shared barbecue.
Baby equipment available on loan.
Pets allowed under owner's responsibility.
