Ideally located, this gîte offers you the chance to go hiking straight from your door, exploring the picturesque paths and bucolic landscapes of the region.
What's more, its strategic location means you can reach many of the region's most famous tourist attractions in less than an hour's drive, including the medieval villages of Collonges-la-rouge and Turenne, the Lascaux cave, the famous Padirac chasm, and the charming village of Rocamadour, listed as one of France's most beautiful villages.
Whether you're a hiking enthusiast, a history buff or simply looking to relax, the Écrin de Lacoste is the ideal starting point for exploring all the wonders Corrèze and its surroundings have to offer.
Nestled in the heart of a small village, L'Écrin de Lacoste is a stone Countryside cottage offering 45 m2 of warm, welcoming living space.
You'll be able to take full advantage of the outdoors, with its 2 terraces, four-poster bed and hammock.
The fully-equipped kitchen with dishwasher will enable you to prepare delicious meals, while the TV and wifi will provide entertainment and connectivity.
The Holiday cottage also includes 2 comfortable bedrooms, one with a 160*200 bed opening directly onto the rear terrace, and another on a mezzanine floor open onto the living room with 2 90*190 beds.
The modern bathroom features a walk-in shower and washing machine.
Finally, a plancha is available for outdoor meals, for convivial moments with family or friends. No smoking allowed.
Price includes: Heating, bed linen, towels and household linen (except cleaning package).

Dubitatif L'écrin parfait pour nos vacances
Ce gîte s'est avéré parfait pour la semaine que nous avons passée, début août, dans le Limousin. Parfaitement en état, bien équipé, il se distingue d'autres offres par les petites choses mises à disposition (que l'on doit souvent acheter ailleurs), les attentions, et par une décoration cohérente et agréable qui ne fait pas 'maison témoin'. L'extérieur, depuis le grand terrain jusqu'aux douces lumières, ajoute au charme du lieu. L'accueil chaleureux et sympathique de Sylvie et Laurent est la cerise sur le gâteau. Fortement recommandé pour un couple.

Laurent et Sylvie sont des hôtes accueillants et conviviaux, à l'image de leur charmant gîte refait à neuf et décoré avec goût. Le cadre campagnard est très calme et reposant, idéal pour se ressourcer. Le gîte offre un point de départ à plusieurs randonnées, nous avons pu ainsi en découvrir d'agréables. Nous recommandons ce gîte !

Le top : accueil, gentillesse, attention, en toute discrétion.
Le gite est un petit bijou : confort, jolies décoration & vaisselle ; tout y est ; même les paniers de dépannage pour les arrivées tardives.
Adeptes des gites depuis des décennies, nous n'avons jamais rencontré une telle attention vis à vis des hôtes.
