Le Secadou

A comfortable Holiday cottage just a stone's throw from the fantastic Tours de Merle, a unique site nestled on a rpcheux pedestal!

On the borders of the Lot and Cantal departments, 4 km from the impressive Tours de Merle, this characterful bakery was used to dry wood and chestnuts, as well as to make and bake bread, a task often overlooked by younger generations. Don't miss the pretty villages along the Dordogne river: Argentat, Monceaux and the many outdoor activities on offer: canoeing, Hiking, Swimming, horse-riding, via ferrata... Whether you're looking for a peaceful or active vacation, there's something for everyone!

On the first floor, the Holiday cottage comprises a living room with kitchenette and bread oven. Upstairs, you'll find 2 bedrooms: one with a double bed (140cm) and the other with a single bed (160cm), as well as a bathroom with bath and WC. A BZ sofa bed is available for 2 additional Kids and/or Teens. Outside, you'll enjoy the 10-hectare wooded grounds (with plenty of games for young and old: swing, soccer cages, badminton net, ping-pong table...) and the pleasant Piscine shared with the owner (dimensions 4x8 m - depth from 1m10 to 1m60), open from mid-June to mid-September and secured by a barrier. The grounds around the Holiday cottage are fully enclosed for the safety of our little ones and our animal friends.
