Situated in the heart of the picturesque commune of Curemonte, listed as one of France's most beautiful villages, it offers an authentic setting, an enclosed garden and a terrace to enjoy the surrounding peace and quiet.
Close to the owner's home, this pretty commune is rich in history and ideal for exploring the region. You can stroll through Curemonte with its cobbled streets, castles and gardens, visit emblematic sites such as the Château de Castelnau-Bretenoux or the Grotte de Foissac, or go Hiking in the splendid Dordogne valley.
A true destination for combining relaxation, culture and nature, this place steeped in history invites you to discover one of France's most beautiful regions.
The Holiday cottage is accessed by a stone spiral staircase leading to a living area comprising a fully-equipped kitchen (fridge, freezer, washing machine, dishwasher, microwave, oven, induction hob, hood, filter coffee maker, "Krups" pod coffee maker, toaster, kettle) and a living room with TV. The bathroom with WC is on the first floor for added comfort.
Upstairs, there are two bedrooms: one with a 140 cm double bed, and the other, accessed by a few steps, has a 160 cm double bed.
Outside, you can enjoy the garden furniture and barbecue, as well as the proximity of a Restaurant just 500 meters away.

Simon Wonderful gîte
This is a beautiful historical gîte with great ambience, lovely garden and superb views. We have stayed in over sixty gîtes over many years and this has the best view of all of them.
A special mention for our host Frank, who went out of his way to make sure that we had a lovely week.
The village is beautiful with an excellent restaurant, and a crêperie. We really enjoyed our cycling, local walks and sightseeing.- Cleanliness

jojo super sejour dans notre gite
Malgre le temps pas favorable, nous avcons passe un super sejour dans ce gite magnifique, bien situé et trés bien équipé. Notre hôte d'une grande gentillesse est parfait. Je recommande vivement aux personnes qui recherche le calme et les beaux paysages.Séjour du 9 au 16 Mai 2026

Curemonte est un superbe village médiéval dans lequel il est agréable de déambuler.
Ce gîte, dit de l'Ancienne École, vous permet de loger comme dans un château. La vue y est splendide. Votre hôte, Franck, est aux petits soins.

Des Angevins ravis Gîte très agréable et bien situé
Séjour dans un cadre calme en pleine nature, et superbe vue du logement dans une région magnifique.
Verdure, jardin arboré, stationnement véhicule et lieu pour abriter les vélos c'est vraiment très bien.
