La Maison des Templiers - Le Moulin

An atypical vacation home, that's what travelers often say about the Moulin de la Doux. The elegant, high-rise building in which you'll be spending your vacation has lived several lives. In the 13th century, it was first used as an abbey by Templar monks. Its Gothic arched openings bear witness to this. Around 1660, the abbey, near the Doux, a tributary of the Couze, was naturally transformed into a sunflower oil mill and a grain mill. At the time, the mill belonged to the lord of the castle of Couzage! Forgotten for several centuries, the mill was reborn in the 2000s, following extensive restoration work by its former owners. In May 2021, after a handover from one old stone lover to another, the mill became the Gîte du Moulin de la Doux. A charming, spacious gîte for a green reunion with family or friends, 500m from Lac du Causse. Heated swimming pool from May to September.

On the first floor, the house comprises a large dining room, a fully equipped kitchen (freezer, oven, filter coffee maker, Nespresso pod coffee maker...) and a living room. On the same level, an independent toilet.
Upstairs, the Holiday cottage has a bedroom with a 160cm bed, and a bedroom with 4 90cm beds. On the same level, a bathroom with shower and WC, washing machine and tumble dryer. A gaming room with sofa bed, table soccer and board games.
On the second floor, two bedrooms, each with a view over the park (bay windows), each with a 180cm bed and private bathroom (shower and WC).

Terrace (kitchen side) with plancha and garden furniture. Enclosed garden with trees, heated private swimming pool (open from mid-May to end-September), deckchairs, pool house (sheltered dining area).
