La commanderie de Saint -Jean

In a restored former commandery, the St Jean Holiday cottages comprise 4 apartments: On the first floor, 2 Holiday cottages for 5 people (Jean Scafer and Jean Montet), on the ground floor, 1 cottage (Jean Chabrignac) for 2 people and the home of the owners and their 3 kids (5/ 8 and 9 years old). The Holiday cottage is set in 2 hectares of land where many animals live together. Come and see the sheep and goats, and sometimes even pet (in the presence of the owners) Isa the pony, doudou the donkey. Give your leftovers to the hens, turkeys, peacocks and other poultry. During the breeding season, in spring and especially in June, the peacock, which roams freely on our estate, sometimes cries early in the morning and at sunset. DUM, our young dog, a Border cross Setter, is very cuddly, even clingy, and very keen to play.

In the Countryside and in a family setting, peace and quiet are the order of the day. For this reason, festive gatherings are not permitted.
The accommodation is equipped with electric radiators, and to keep our rates competitive, we inform our guests that in winter, the radiators are blocked at 20° in the living room and 18° in the bedrooms (although you can turn them down if you wish).
Hiking and mountain biking trails surround the property.
We're located in the heart of a village in the south of the Corrèze region, so come and enjoy a quiet, family-friendly environment.
Close to the Lake de miel (inflatable games on the lake, snack bar and brasserie on the terrace...) and less than an hour from many destinations.
