Gîte in a detached character house. Located near the Dordogne Gorges and the Plateau de Millevaches, 8 km from Egletons and the Marcillac la Croisille lake. Fishing nearby.
On the ground floor, the house comprises a living room with sofa and TV, and a kitchenette. The kitchen is equipped with fridge, microwave and dishwasher.
A staircase leads up to the first floor, where you'll find 2 bedrooms, each with 1 double bed. Shower room and separate WC.
Wifi available.
Outside, in front of the house, accessible from the front door, is a terrace (not enclosed).
The Holiday cottage also benefits from an enclosed garden (adjoining the house but not communicating), accessible by walking along the side of the house. The garden has a picnic table.
Central heating is electric/wood stove.

Gîte familiale
5/5Bon séjour pour découvrir les environs avec randonnées, sites naturels, ponts et barrages nombreux à proximité: cascades, plateaux de Millevaches, forêts et de nombreux ponts et viaducs à arpenter.
Gîte confortable pour une famille avec feu dans le poêle à bois pour se réchauffer au retour si besoin et se reposer avec tout le nécessaire.
L'escalier ne nous a pas du tout poser problème pour nous...

Lovely stay in a peaceful gite
5/5Lovely quiet location, but within easy reach of beautiful countryside and villages. Great reception with Franglais fun with Marie-France. Accommodation ideal for us although the staircase is quite steep. However, my wife managed it well even though she managed to break an arm and a foot at home in the UK before we left for our holiday!!
This gite is well away from crowded tourist areas and is great for rest and relaxation. Easy car rides however, take you to some of the most beautiful countryside and towns / villages we have seen.- Cleanliness 5/5
