Sornac is an ideal starting point for a wide range of Hiking and cycling trails through the magnificent panoramas of the Plateau de Millevaches, its forests, peat bogs and lakes.
Take advantage of the Etang des Chaux beach for relaxing and family picnics, a leisure park (city-stadium, table tennis, table soccer, Kids' games) and numerous summer activities. Fishing at Lake des Chaux starts in April and lasts until the end of October.
Close to the village with its many shops.
Close to the Auvergne volcanoes, the Dordogne gorges, the Cité Internationale de la Tapisserie in Aubusson, the Château de Val in Bort-les-Orgues and Lake Vassivière.

Set of 5 adjoining Holiday cottages with independent entrances, housed in a renovated farmhouse on the edge of a Lake with large, shared, wooded, unenclosed grounds. Terraces with wooden tables and benches.
A table can be added in Holiday cottage n°4 to enable meals to be shared. Free baby equipment on reservation. A cleaning kit with eco-responsible products is provided.
Pets allowed under the owner's responsibility, with respect for the Holiday cottage and other guests.
Optional cleaning 75€/stay and per Holiday cottage, i.e. 375€ for all Holiday cottages " if you do not take the cleaning package, a deposit of 375€ will be required on your arrival."
The cleaning deposit cheque will be kept and destroyed once the Holiday cottages have been checked.
