Nestled in the hills above Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, one of the "Most Beautiful Villages in France", this charming half-timbered house welcomes you to a peaceful, leafy setting. Although located in Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, you need only cross the road to enter the commune of Sioniac, just a stone's throw from its little church, whose gentle chimes and the morning crow of the neighboring rooster bring a real authenticity to this rural setting. The house, imbued with the typical charm of the region, has been carefully renovated by the owner to combine modern comfort with old-world allure. Nearby, you can explore Beaulieu-sur-Dordogne, Collonges-la-Rouge, Curemonte, Autoire, Carennac, Loubressac, the Gouffre de Padirac and Rocamadour. You'll also be able to enjoy the splendid scenery of the Dordogne Valley, with its listed villages, riverside walks and gourmet markets - an ideal starting point for a holiday rich in heritage, nature and the good life!

The house (approx. 75 m²) is fully equipped and comprises: - on the ground floor, 1 bedroom with queensize bed (160x200), a large living room with fully-equipped open kitchen, shower room and separate toilet - on the first floor, a large open room with 1 double bed (140x190) and 2 single beds (90x180). The house is fully air-conditioned (reversible air conditioning), and has a pellet stove for winter use.

Beds will be made on arrival, and towels will be provided, so don't worry! Also, various games, books and baby equipment are at your disposal (a baby chair, a bathtub and an Umbrella bed). You can enjoy the outdoors (not enclosed) at your convenience: - a terrace and pergola: garden furniture for 6..,
- gas plancha and two sun loungers at the foot of the banana trees - a wood of over 1000m² where you might find a few mushrooms or figs in the right seasons. The wood is left to its own development and is a great playground for wild animals approaching the village. It is kept to a minimum. Kids and pets must be supervised at all times. We choose not to charge extra for cleaning, linen, towels, dogs, electricity or heating. Bed linen, utilities and household linen are included. Housekeeping is not included and must be done before departure. Everything you need for your first few nights is provided (toilet paper, sponge, washing-up liquid, coffee, dishwasher tablets, washing-up liquid, hygiene products (shower gel and shampoo)... We're counting on you to leave the house in good health. Household products, vacuum cleaner, mop, microfiber cloths... are of course available on site. Finally, please note that the house is not accessible to people with mobility difficulties. There is a step up to the property, and another step down to the house. Inside, you'll find a brand to access the shower room, and the original staircase upstairs has no handrail. Free on-street parking: no need to worry about parking your car, just pull up alongside the street against either the cemetery wall or the wall above the garden. Electric vehicle charging is not permitted.
