Welcome to our little corner of paradise! The 5 Bed and breakfast rooms have been created through the tasteful renovation of a magnificent barn. Ideal for groups and families of up to 11 people, the large living and dining rooms allow you to be together, while leaving everyone their own room and space. It is also possible to rent this property as an independent Holiday cottage.
All bedrooms have private shower rooms, comfortable bedding and are individually decorated with style and charm. The first-floor living room has exposed beams and a large wood-burning stove, and windows overlooking the Lake and gardens. Everything is designed for comfort.
Outside, there's a lovely large park with terraces, a swimming pool and a private pond with water lilies. Set in beautiful Countryside, Chateauret is a haven of peace and quiet. Quality breakfasts and table d'hôtes complete the stay.
We've adapted the guest kitchen and cooking equipment so that our guests can prepare meals when restaurants are closed and table d'hôtes are not available. You can make yourself a free cup of tea or coffee at any time of day.
It is possible to rent this property as an independent Holiday cottage. The host's accommodation is adjoining but not accessible to guests. Ideal for large families, the Holiday cottage sleeps 11 adults, plus two Kids on folding beds and two babies in Umbrella beds. Please call for pricing details.
We also offer cyclists (racing bikes) specialized vacations tailored to their needs. Contact us for more information.
For walking enthusiasts, we can propose itineraries and can do holidays around the "Dordogne Vallée des barrages en villages" tour - pack your bags and walk in comfort!

5/5Nous avons adoré l’accueil de nos hôtes anglais qui parlent parfaitement français.
Nous sommes tombés sous le charme de la bâtisse, de la deco, de l’ambiance cocooning qui se dégage de ce gîte.
Et quant aux extérieurs ….. parfait !!! Nous étions venus pour pêcher, nous nous sommes régalés. L’étang est pleins de poissons : petites carpes, tanches, gardons …
Petit bémol : nous ne sommes pas fan des matelas à mémoire de forme («mais ça ne regarde que nous )

Séjour merveilleux
5/5Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux. James et Samantha sont adorables et toujours là pour donner des bons conseils de visites. La cuisine de Samantha est délicieuse, nous avons adoré dîner aux tables d'hôtes, entourés de personnes sympathiques. La maison et le jardin sont magnifiques. Un véritable havre de paix.

Un petit coin de paradis
5/5Sam et James sont des hôtes formidables. Un havre de calme et un magnifique espace avec l'étang, la piscine, le jardin, les hamacs...
Les amateurs de vélo trouveront leur bonheur auprès de James. Sam nous a donné plein de bonnes adresses tant pour les visites que pour les restos.
