A family campsite by the Lake in the heart of the Millevaches plateau and close to the Auvergne volcanoes

This traditional campsite covers 4 hectares and is very accessible.
Sornac is an ideal starting point for a wide range of Hiking and biking trails through the magnificent panoramas of the Plateau de Millevaches, its forests, peat bogs and lakes.
Take advantage of the Etang des Chaux beach for relaxing and family picnics, a leisure park (city-stadium, table tennis, table soccer, Kids' games) and numerous summer activities.
Fishing at Lake des Chaux runs from April to late October.
Close to the town and shops in a charming village.
Close to the Auvergne volcanoes, the Dordogne gorges, the Cité Internationale de la Tapisserie in Aubusson, the Château de Val in Bort-les-Orgues and Lake Vassivière.

A family-friendly, tree-lined municipal campsite located on the shores of the Étang des Chaux, featuring restroom facilities, showers (including one accessible to people with limited mobility), a washing machine available in summer (during reception hours), where you can enjoy Fishing, Swimming, Hiking, or Mountain Biking. Outdoor sports activities nearby. Beach access 50 m away (with Wi-Fi) and to the sports and recreation park. Barbecues permitted and dogs must be kept on a leash. Wi-Fi also available around the reception area from June to September.
