A family campsite by the Lake in the heart of the Millevaches plateau and close to the Auvergne volcanoes

This traditional campsite covers 4 hectares and is very accessible.
Sornac is an ideal starting point for a wide range of Hiking and biking trails through the magnificent panoramas of the Plateau de Millevaches, its forests, peat bogs and lakes.
Take advantage of the Etang des Chaux beach for relaxing and family picnics, a leisure park (city-stadium, table tennis, table soccer, Kids' games) and numerous summer activities.
Fishing at Lake des Chaux runs from April to late October.
Close to the town and shops in a charming village.
Close to the Auvergne volcanoes, the Dordogne gorges, the Cité Internationale de la Tapisserie in Aubusson, the Château de Val in Bort-les-Orgues and Lake Vassivière.

Campsites with trees and a family atmosphere, located on the banks of the Etang des Chaux, with sanitary block, showers and laundry facilities (laundry available in summer during opening hours of the campsite reception), where you can enjoy Fishing, Swimming, Hiking, mountain biking and all nature sports activities. Access to the Beach 50 m away, with WIFI, and to the sports and leisure park. Barbecue allowed and dogs kept on leash.
