This self-contained Holiday cottage is decorated in the typical Correze style of yesteryear.
For shopping, you're just 6 km from the City of Ussel.
The Holiday cottage is also conveniently located for exploring the surrounding area.
You'll be able to enjoy nature walks, hikes and bike rides to explore the countryside.
Nestled in the heart of the Plateau de Millevaches, on 3,000m² of land with a magnificent Forest for lovely walks, leading to 2 ponds (one of which has been brought up to standard for the summer period) with pretty water lilies. Please note: the pond is UNAVAILABLE for the time being and until further notice due to works On the first floor: A large living room with kitchen, lounge and dining room, fireplace/cantelpiece (decoration) 2 bedrooms with 140cm beds Shower room and WC. On the first floor: 2 bedrooms with 90cm beds A bathroom and separate WC 3000m² grounds Storage room for fishing tackle or bicycles (capacity 4 bikes / locked room).

Disappointed pecheur Empty Lake
Travelled long distance to find the main lake had been drained. As fishing was one of the main reasons for choosing the gite it was a big let down, as the second smaller lake would hold only 15" of water making it unsuitable for the type of angling expected. We had made an enquiry before booking to check its suitability and feel we should have been warned of this change to a major facility advertised, as the gite is advertised as "fishing". Despite the owners initial quick response to the lack of internet, when she replaced the router, nothing was done was done when reception was lost after a couple of days; something else listed as being available which we had to do without. No mention of bed linen not being provided (glad we brought some just in case). One double bed was very hard, the other very soft and neither were comfortable. The kitchen area required us to clean before use and the upstairs toilet could have been cleaner. We couldn't find the gite manual, with emergency phone numbers, doctors location or how to recycle and where etc as we have always found in 3 ears of corn gites we have visited.

Mel Gîte paisible et serein
Séjour très agréable dans un lieu charmant et calme, situé à quelque kilomètre de toutes les commodités(Ussel & le Lac Ponty).
