For lovers of historic buildings, this holiday cottage for two isn’t just a setting—it’s the real deal. Once the estate’s bread oven, it has been faithfully restored in a building dating back to 1891, complete with its granite walls, rustic atmosphere, and antique furniture carefully selected to preserve the original spirit.

Inside, you’ll find a simple, cohesive space centered around an oak miller’s ladder leading to the bedroom upstairs. Upstairs, the charm lies as much in the exposed beams as in the feeling of sleeping “under the stars,” in a deliberately uncluttered and soothing space.

The holiday cottage is located on a working farm, surrounded by vast, unfenced organic flower-filled meadows and refreshing groves. The peace and quiet is genuine, but you have to be open to it: the owner’s house is about 100 meters away, and another holiday cottage is right next door. It’s not total isolation, but a shared rural environment that’s discreet and respectful of everyone.

From the farm, hiking trails are right at your doorstep, and fishing enthusiasts can easily reach the surrounding streams to try their luck at catching trout.

Located in the heart of France’s largest mountain biking network, with its 50 marked trails, this holiday cottage for 2 people is ideal for nature lovers and those seeking a getaway in the countryside.

You can access the holiday cottage either through the living area or directly through the bedroom’s French doors, which open onto the parking area at the back of the house—a particularly convenient way to load and unload your luggage.

On the ground floor, you’ll find a living area featuring a fully equipped kitchenette, a table and chairs for meals, and a wood-burning stove that creates a warm atmosphere and provides cozy comfort. A bathroom with a shower and toilet completes this level.

Upstairs, accessible via an authentic miller’s ladder, is a bedroom furnished with a 140-cm double bed and a French window that lets in plenty of light and opens onto the outdoors.

Outside, a private garden with an electric griddle is available for you to enjoy on sunny days.

An electric vehicle charging station is available and is shared with the second holiday cottage. A flat fee of €10 per charge will be charged, regardless of the vehicle.
