Gite set in an 18th-century building entirely renovated with care and authenticity, opening onto a wooded garden enclosed by dry-stone walls, in the heart of the protected village of Tusson. Spacious, comfortable gîte for 2 people, ideal for rest and relaxation. Quiet setting, not overlooked.
Large 46 m² living room with dining room, kitchen and lounge, bedroom with 160cm bed, shower room, wc. Neatly decorated.
Terrace 43 m², private enclosed garden 1200 m² with trees and flowers. Table tennis. Plancha available.
Hifi, radio, DVD player, baby bed and bath, high chair.
Kitchen linen, towels and sheets provided, beds made up on arrival. End-of-stay cleaning included.
Heating to be paid on site.
Animal supplement 7€/day.
Grocery store with local produce, restaurant, tea room, arts and crafts, 50 m from the gîte.

GDO TUSSON
Gîte malgré la canicule asses frais grâce aux murs très épais, mais un ventilateur ne serrai pas de trop. Une épicerie, un salon de thé (excellents gâteaux), et un vendeur de foie gras a proximité du gîte, que demander de mieux. Agréable séjour.

Le logement est bien équipé, propre et typique (murs en pierres). L’atout principal de cette maison est sans aucun doute son jardin, très grand, ombragé par endroits et entouré de grands murs de pierres. La propriétaire, très gentiment avait accepté nos chiens, qui se sont régalés dans cet espace. Le village est pittoresque, les commerçants très sympathiques. Un énorme coup de cœur pour le salon de thé « les gâteaux », lieu très accueillant avec de délicieux gâteaux à consommer sur place ou à emporter. Nous avons apprécié ce séjour très reposant.

DrSally Lovely big gîte for two people and a dog!
This is a very comfortable, spacious gîte, with an enormous walled garden - perfect for two with a large dog. The village of Tusson has many surprises, with charming countryside, good walks and Neolithic sites. There is a wonderful restaurant in the village, plus a well-stocked, if small, épicerie (closed Mondays). Similarly the excellent Maison de la Charente for all things duck and foie gras related, is also closed on Mondays. I can recommend it.
PS the nearest EV charger is in Aigre, 5 miles away. It is very slow, and expensive, and we had to phone for help to get our car disconnected! However, a long extension cable at the gîte means a hybrid can be plugged in to an ordinary socket.- Cleanliness
