Situated in a hamlet at the crossroads of the Charente, Charente-Maritime and Dordogne, this characterful, totally independent gîte has been converted into a 17th-century dovecote.

Ground floor: dining room—kitchen with two bread ovens, bathroom, toilet, 1 bedroom with a 140-cm bed and a terrace facing the rising sun.
Upstairs: living room with 2 pull-out beds (2x80 cm) and a bookshelf. Magnificent view of the Countryside.
Large, enclosed private garden of 2,000 m², with games (badminton, pétanque). The hamlet is separated from the Forest (300 m away) by a pond where Fishing is permitted.
Fiber-optic internet. Electric heating charges to be settled based on meter reading at the end of your stay.
Baby Equipment: Umbrella bed, high chair, changing pad, baby bathtub.
Outdoor electrical outlet for charging bikes or electric cars (if used extensively, you may leave a tip for Odile).

Nearby attractions include Aubeterre-sur-Dronne, one of the most beautiful villages in France (5 km away), and the Château de Talleyrand in Chalais (6 km away).
