On the outskirts of Angoulême and close to the activities of the Charente river, you'll be seduced by this renovated 19th-century house of character, and by its bucolic, verdant setting. The owners have renovated a private apartment on the second floor overlooking the garden: two bedrooms, a shower room, a toilet and a kitchenette. Situated on the site of an old mill, the presence of water all around the house means that children need to be supervised.
Family suite on 2nd floor comprising two bedrooms, Mayotte and Polynesia, each with 1 x 160cm bed (2 x 80cm twin beds) and a single sofa bed (100x190cm), private bathroom with large shower, private separate toilet, kitchenette (fridge, 2-burner induction hob, microwave, kettle, toaster).
Available: open-air terrace with garden furniture and barbecue, ping-pong table, garden with 50 m² Piscine (with alarm and cover), unheated, open from May 1 to October 15 (depth 1m50). On-site parking, possibility of garage for motorcycles and bicycles.
WIFI. Fans available, mosquito screens installed on windows.
Baby bed, high chair and protective barrier at top of stairs available.
Naturopathic consultation and shiatsu wellbeing massage available.

Flavie et Clément Un merveilleux séjour !
Nous avons séjourné dans un cadre magnifique et relaxant. Nos hôtes ont été arrangeants et nous ont réservé un accueil chaleureux. Les lieux sont propres, beaux, bien entretenus et accueillants, nous avons même eu la chance de pouvoir rencontrer une canne sauvage et ses canetons qui ont élu domicile sur place ! Le petit déjeuner fait maison est délicieux, avec de nombreux choix.

The perfect stay:
We love the Charentes and visited it often. This was our first time in this chambre d'Hotes. Nadine and Didier are the perfect hosts. Kind, have advices about the environment, restaurants and make a lovely home prepared breakfast.
The swimming pool and the terras (for yourself) are excellent.
We used the kitchen for small preparations; salades, cooking a little thing.
The beds sleeps well and the shower is great.
We will be back.

AF Une belle chambre d'hôtes au calme
Un bel accueil dans ce petit coin calme. Tout un étage à notre disposition avec 2 belles et grandes chambres, une kitchenette. Nous avons eu la chance d'admirer un chevreuil dès notre arrivée. Un petit déjeuner fait maison très complet. Très bien situé à 15 mn environ du centre ville de Angoulême.

Un lieu absolument magnifique, restauré avec beaucoup de goût et de respect pour l’authenticité. Notre partie du logement était parfaite : des chambres spacieuses, confortables, chaleureuses et très agréables à vivre.
La restauration est tout simplement remarquable. Les plats sont élaborés à partir de produits faits maison, préparés avec soin et passion. La qualité se ressent à chaque bouchée. Mention spéciale pour les propositions végétales, créatives et savoureuses, qui apportent un vrai plus et témoignent d’une attention particulière portée aux goûts et aux valeurs de chacun.
Une adresse où l’on se sent bien, alliant confort, raffinement et excellence culinaire… Une expérience que nous recommandons sans hésitation.
