This former priory has been transformed into a comfortable self-catering cottage, combining designer furnishings with old buildings and a superb view over the valley.

Near the church of Beaulieu sur Sonnette, in the Charente Limousine region, this former priory (15th century, modified in the 18th) has been entirely restored using traditional materials that have preserved all its authenticity. A harmonious blend of ancient architecture and designer decor: the furniture consists exclusively of unique pieces, specially designed and created by Yves for this authentic setting. From the terrace, shaded by a pergola of greenery, you can enjoy the serene scenery of the Sonnette valley, which flows at the foot of the village.

First floor: beautiful entrance hall with traditional "coeurs de demoiselles" paving, living room with fireplace, including kitchen and dining room, sitting room (with fireplace, sofa, TV, DVD player, radio CD player), access to a 25m² terrace and 2000 m² private walled garden overlooking the valley. Lower floor: bedroom with 200x200 bed, independent entrance and access to a 42 m² terrace, bathroom with bath and shower, wc, linen room and 2nd wc. Upper floor, up the superb 15th-century staircase: bedroom with 180x200 bed, TV and open shower room (very large shower), private wc.
Cot and high chair available.

Wood included for fireplaces. Sheets, towels and kitchen linen provided, beds made up on arrival.
Possibility of using the owners' swimming pool 3km away (fixed fee €200/week).
