This gîte has been converted from an old mill in the heart of a verdant setting on the outskirts of Angoulême.

Gîte on the first floor of an old watermill in a verdant setting on the outskirts of Angoulême. The Boëme river winds its way through the cool, green valley, driving the wheel of the Duc mill, a 17th-century flour and walnut oil mill.

First floor: entrance with summer kitchen.
Access to living room via steep staircase: living room with sitting area, dining room, kitchen and view over the paddle wheel. Two bedrooms, each with en-suite shower room and toilet, one with 1 double bed (140cm), the other with 2 single beds (90cm). Air-conditioning upstairs for summer use.
28 m² terrace with secure access to the river (lockable gate), 200 m² semi-enclosed private garden, ping-pong table. Private parking, motorcycle garage on request.

Baby equipment: Umbrella bed, high chair, bathtub, potty, stair gates.
Recharging facilities for electric vehicles (Green Up plug).
Fishing in pond.
Pets on property (billy goat, pony, swans).

The site is close to a little-used railroad line, high up and partly sheltered by woods.
