The environment is conducive to relaxation, with only the sound of frogs disturbing the peace and quiet. Take advantage of this beautifully decorated cocoon to visit the houses of Cognac and the old town, or to stroll along the Charente river, by bike or on foot.
First floor: living room with fitted kitchen (2-burner hob), dining area on central island and sitting area. Access to the 20m² terrace from the kitchen.
Upstairs access via a steep staircase, 1 bedroom with 1 bed 140x190, 1 bedroom with 1 bed 160x200 and a shower room with large shower (140x80) and WC.
Air-conditioning, fiber-optic wifi with box, baby equipment: baby bed and high chair. Non-smoking Holiday cottage.
Outside: private terrace 20m², private unfenced garden 1500m², barbecue, garden furniture, boules area, unsecured pond at bottom of garden, on-site parking.

Nous avons reçu un accueil chaleureux du propriétaire dans son nouveau gîte, qu'il a lui-même magnifiquement rénové. La rénovation a été un franc succès et tout est magnifiquement fini. Le gîte offre tout le confort attendu d'un gîte aussi moderne. Nous avons été particulièrement ravis de l'espace qui l'entoure. Le soir, nous avons même aperçu des chevreuil et un renard. Nous y avons séjourné trois semaines, et le gîte était également un excellent point de départ pour des excursions dans la région de Cognac et de Charente. Il a parfois fait très chaud pendant notre séjour, et nous avons très apprécié de pouvoir allumer la climatisation le soir. En bref, si vous souhaitez explorer la région, c'est un gite idéal.

Jorestra Geheimtipp
Unser Aufenthalt hat uns sehr gefallen. Das Haus war liebevoll und doch zweckmäßig eingerichtet, sehr sauber, alle Geräte funktionierten, die Ausstattung war optimal und was wir sehr schätzten, dass ein paar Kaffeetabs, Spültabs und ein WMtab da waren. Der sehr grosse offene Garten inmitten der Natur lud die Kinder zum Spielen ein.
Joris, der Eigentümer, war unkompliziert, hilfsbereit und sehr freundlich. Wir kommen sehr gerne wieder.- Cleanliness

Jim Le Gite des Tuileries
The Gite had recently been refurbished and everything about the quality and taste of furnishing was impeccable. The location is only minutes drive away from Cognac, but other places of interest are a relatively short drive away. The hosts were attentive but not intrusive and explained everything very clearly in excellent English. We would certainly stay here again.
