In the heart of a quiet, bucolic setting, the owners have just realized a dream: to build a unique, sustainable and healthy home. The house is built of wood and clad in locally sourced Douglas fir and stone. The views from its terraces over the rolling Charente Limousine countryside are impressive.

The 5000 m² enclosed garden offers plenty of space to play and relax. The large living, dining and kitchen area is spacious and very bright, as it is flanked by large bay windows. All areas are well furnished and equipped. The two bedrooms on the first floor each have a 140cm bed and en-suite shower room. Upstairs is a bedroom with a 160cm bed and en-suite bathroom, and a bedroom with two single beds and a baby bed, en-suite bathroom and enclosed balcony overlooking the living room.

The house was awarded the Poitou-Charentes regional prize for wood construction after its construction.
