At the crossroads of the two Charentes regions, five rooms in a 19th-century character house on the banks of the river. Swimming pool on site, in the heart of a large wooded park, wellness services (booking required).
First floor: Chambre Tilleul with bed 160, private shower room and wc. Upstairs: Chambre Familiale (bed 180 and 2 beds 90), with private bathroom (bath + shower) and toilet, Chambre Bleue (3 épis) with bed 160, private bathroom and toilet not adjoining, Suite Familiale comprising 2 bedrooms (one with bed 180, the other with 3 beds 90), private bathroom and toilet, Chambre Bordeaux with bed 160, private bathroom and toilet.
Vast 50m² hall, dining room, lounge with TV, library, billiards table, WIFI.
Garden with alarmed swimming pool (12x6 m.), covered terrace, picnic area, volleyball, badminton, parking.
Reunion-style table d'hôtes (reservation required).
140 m² reception room for weddings and seminars, equipped with tables and chairs and a catering kitchen.
Possibility of workshops on reservation (at 0545784689): massage services, samosa cooking workshop, cognac tasting, pottery modeling workshop.

GOMBERT Bernard et Shandra
Shandra, Réunionnaise, passionnée par la décoration et les arts de la table, et Bernard, amateur de jardinage et philatéliste, né d'un père viticulteur dans les Borderies et d'une mère Réunionnaise tombent amoureux de la Charente et y découvrent un manoir lové au cœur d'un parc de 8000 mètres carrés.
Enthousiastes, ils décident alors de rénover la bâtisse pour y lancer leur activité de maison d'hôtes, table d'hôtes et réceptions en 2021. Cultivant le sens de l'hospitalité, Shandra et Bernard font partager leur double culture à leurs visiteurs. Ils mettent à l'honneur la cuisine réunionnaise et ont l'originalité de l'associer aux arômes subtils du Cognac, cru emblématique de cette région charentaise. Le visiteur profitera ainsi d'une expérience unique et insolite.

L’accueil de Bernard et Shandra est extraordinaire. Ils font tout pour nous faire découvrir de nouvelles saveurs et passer un très bon moment, ce qui a été encore une fois le cas merci à eux tout était bien les extérieurs étaient nickels les chambres parfaites rien à dire, si ce n’est de conseiller d’y aller.

Rodstar Wonderful Stay in the French Countryside
Shandra & Bernard were the perfect hosts, making us feel very welcome. Our room was very spacious and comfortable, and the property was simply gorgeous. This was my second stay here, as a visitor from Australia, and I cannot think of a better way to experience warm hospitality in the Cognac region of France.

Dear Rod Our meeting in 2023 was incredible! It was our beginnings of activity as a bed and breakfast since we bought the Domaine de Pladuc and for you, a first stay in this region of Cognac. And what a wonderful surprise, you Australian and us from Reunion Island! Extraordinary, the contact was made straight away! Très bon séjour dans un beau cadre de verdure. Château bien restauré et entretenu. Grande chambre au rez-de-chaussée très agréable avec un grand lit. Possibilité piscine. Nous avons mon épouse et moi-même beaucoup apprécié le repas du soir et le petit déjeuner.
